WWE RAW Results 2 March 2020- AJ Styles vs Black, Tag Team Title Match
Rey Mysterio & Humberto Carrillo vs Andrade & Angel Garza
Andrade and Carrillo start with punches on each other. Andrade sends Carrillo out of the ring early. Rey leaps off the apron at Andrade but Andrade drives him into the barrier. Andrade also slams Carrillo into the barricade. Takes him back to the ring and tags in Garza. Garza drops him on the mat before hitting a few chops in the corner. More stikes in the corner before tag back to Andrade. Andrade with chops on Carrillo. Garza is tagged in and Carrillo starts to fight out both of them.
Headscissors on Andrade, dropkick to Garza sends him out. Springboard headbutt to Andrade gets Carrillo a two-count. Carrillo kicks Andrade but Andrade comes right back and rocks him with a strike. Andrade poses on the middle rope for a pop. Garza goes on and forces Carrillo to snatch his pants off for a pop. We get a dropkick and then Rey flies into the ring. Rey and Carrillo keep the offense coming and send their opponents out of the ring to the floor. We go to commercial.
Carrillo gets out of the stretch and headbutts Garza after the break. Mysterio rusn in hot. He hits some quick moves on Andrade before taking him down with a DDT. Andrade hits a big elbow but Mysterio hits a kick and takes him down with a headscissor. Carrillo sends Garza out of the ring. He dives on him on the floor and Garza moves away to crash him in the barricade. We go to another break.
Carrillo has managed to take down Andrade to the floor as we return. Mysterio and Garza are tagged in. Garza catches Mysterio’s 619 and puts him in the corner for a kick in the gut. He gets a two-count for his effort. Mysterio counters with a Canadian destroyer to get a near fall of his own. Andrade tags in to hit back elbow on Mysterio. Andrade hits the three amigos suplexes.
Carrillo gets the tag and drops Andrade. He goes to the top and Andrade sweeps his leg. Double knees in the corner for a near fall. Mysterio drops both Andrade and Garza on the ropes and hits 619 on both. Mysterio then takes down Garza at the ringside. Carrillo hits the moonsault off the top to get the pin on Andrade.
Winner- Humberto Carrillo & Rey Mysterio
Beth Pheonix, Edge & Randy Orton
Beth Phoenix comes to the ring and takes the mic. She says she is here to give a medical update on her husband, Edge. Before she can say anything, Randy Orton interrupts with his entrance. Orton enters the ring and goes to hug Beth but she stops him. Orton then offers a handshake but Beth just stares her with anger. Beth rants at Orton for what he did to her husband.
Orton takes a seat up on the top turnbuckle as Beth says Orton needs to hear the medical update. She’s here as a wife because she needs her husband and she’s here as a mother because her kids need their father. She goes on and Orton steps down to the mat, sizing her up. Orton comes back down and says it’s a certainty that Edge will never wrestle again after what he did to him. Orton goes to explain why he attacked Edge.
Orton recalls how father took him to a live event to meet WWE agents for him to break into the business. He goes on about how Edge shook his father’s hand and told Orton maybe some day they could work together. Orton talks about working with Edge and stealing the show. Orton says he made some bad choices and ended up in a hole. But Edge pulled him out of it and saved his life, taught him how to be with a family.
Orton says he just returned the favor and saved Edge’s life. Orton realized after the Royal Rumble that Edge thought he was back for good. But Orton knew better. He wanted their kids to have their father and thanks to him, Edge will be able to be there for his kids. But the sad truth is that everyone blames Orton for what he did to Edge. Orton goes on and says Beth knows it’s her fault because she enabler Edge’s addiction for crowd support. Orton goes on and says he loves Edge and their daughters more than Beth ever could.
Beth gets upset and slaps Orton. He tosses the mic. Orton is angry now and they stare down each other. Orton calls her a b***h. Beth kicks him in the midsection and Orton hits her with RKO right away. Orton makes his exit and we see officials rushing to the ring to check on Beth. The commentators play up to the seriousness of the situation. Natalya, Rey Mysterio, R-Truth, D-Von Dudley and other officials are checking on Beth in the ring. The show goes off the air.
