UFC Vegas 83: Nascimento Out, Tim Elliott vs Su Mudaerji Set

Tim Elliott has been scheduled to step in for Allan Nascimento against Su Mudaerji at UFC Vegas 83 event.

As per AG Fight’s report, Allan Nascimento will not be competing in his scheduled bout against Su Mudaerji. The specific reason for Nascimento’s withdrawal from the fight has not been disclosed.

Patrick McCorry has additionally added that Tim Elliott is set to replace him on just 5 days notice. There is no clear update on whether the bout still remains at flyweight or not. The event is set to take place this Saturday on December 9, 2023.

Tim Elliott’s most recent fight took place at the UFC 294 event, where he suffered a defeat against Muhammad Mokaev via submission. This loss brought an end to Elliott’s two-fight winning streak. Preceding the Mokaev fight, Elliott secured a victory against Victor Altamirano. Elliott’s current UFC record stands at 8 wins, 11 losses, and 0 draws.

Su Mudaerji has competed in five matches within the UFC, securing victory in three and experiencing two losses. As of 2023, he hasn’t had any fights yet but appears to be included on the card in his home country. His latest match occurred at a UFC on ABC 3 event, concluding with a defeat against Matt Schnell due to a submission.

UFC Vegas 83 will be airing from UFC Apex Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. A bantamweight fight was also added to the event just a couple of days ago where Steve Garcia Jr. will face Melquizael Costa.
