Bryce Mitchell has been scheduled to step in for Giga Chikadze against Josh Emmett at UFC 296 PPV event.
Giga Chikadze was earlier reported to have pulled out of his scheduled fight against Emmett due to a groin injury. As per a report from MagicM of MMA Betting Show, Bryce Mitchell has come in as the replacement fighter against Emmett.
Mitchell is ranked #10 in UFC Rankings in featherweight division. Emmett holds the #6 rank in the same division.

Josh Emmett is presently on a two-fight losing streak. His most recent fight was against Ilia Topuria at UFC Jacksonville event, where he was defeated via unanimous decision. Before the Topuria bout, Emmett faced a defeat at the hands of Yair Rodriguez at UFC 284 event in a match for the interim UFC Featherweight title.
