Molly McCann vs Diana Belbiță Announced for UFC Vegas 85 Event
Molly McCann is set to make his strawweight debut in a rematch against Diana Belbiță at UFC Vegas 85 event.
UFC announced officially via UFC Europe Twitter account that McCann and Belbiță will clash in a strawweight bout at UFC’s February 3, 2024, event.
McCann and Belbiță once fought in a flyweight bout back in October 2019 where McCann came out victorious.

Molly McCann’s most recent fight occurred at the Grappling at Polaris 26 event, where she secured a victory over Julia Scardone via submission. However, within the UFC, McCann has encountered a challenging phase, currently on a two-fight losing streak.
McCann’s last UFC bout took place at UFC London event, where she was defeated by Julija Stoliarenko via submission. Before the Stoliarenko fight, McCann faced a loss against Erin Blanchfield, marking the conclusion of her three-fight winning streak.
Diana Belbiță competed in her most recent fight at UFC Vegas 80 event, where she experienced a defeat by unanimous decision against Karolina Kowalkiewicz. Prior to the Kowalkiewicz fight, Belbiță secured a victory over Maria Oliveira at UFC 289 event, also by unanimous decision. As of now, Belbiță holds a UFC record of 2 wins, 4 losses, and no draws.
UFC Vegas 85 event is set to occur on February 3, 2024, and is scheduled to be held live in Las Vegas, Nevada. A featherweight bout is also set for the event, where Melsik Baghdasaryan will face William Gomis.
