EVENT NOTES

On November 6, 2023, Iridium Sports Agency revealed that their Jamal Pogues would fight on the February 3, 2024 UFC card. Later, it was reported that the event will take place at UFC Apex Center in Las Vegas. It will be the 85th Fight Night event at the venue, and hence, will also be called UFC Vegas 85.

On November 18, 2023, the MMA Time Twitter account reported that a middleweight bout between Roman Dolidze and Nassourdine Imavov would headline this event. On November 30, UFC officially announced this bout to be the main event.

Nate Maness and Azat Maksum were announced for a featherweight bout for this event. Maness pulled out of the bout due to an injury. Charles Johnson came in to replace Maness.

Kiefer Crosbie vs Themba Gorimbo welterweight bout was announced earlier. Crosbie pulled out of the bout for unknown reasons. Pete Rodriguez came in as a replacement.

Melsik Baghdasaryan vs William Gomis welterweight bout was announced for the event, but Baghdasaryan pulled out and the bout was subsequently cancelled.

Randy Brown vs Muslim Salikhov bout was previously announced for UFC 296. However, Brown had to pull out due to an illness. The bout was later rebooked for this event.
