UFC Vegas 85: Marquel Mederos to Debut vs Landon Quiñones
Marquel Mederos’ debut opponent in UFC is revealed now.
Iridium Sports Agency announced that Mederos will face Landon Quiñones in his promotional debut at UFC Vegas 85 event on February 3, 2024, in a lightweight bout.
UFC Vegas 85 is set to take at UFC Apex Center in Las Vegas, NV. Roman Dolidze vs Nassourdine Imavov middleweight bout is expected to headline the event.

Mederos earned his UFC contract via Dana White Contender Series 2023 where he defeated Issa Isakov via knockout in first round. He is currently on a 6-fight winning streak with most of the fights coming in Fury FC.
Landon Quiñones is coming off a sting in The Ultimate Fighter season 31 where he was part of Team McGregor. He lost to Jason Knight in the lightweight quarterfinals. He got a chance to come in as a short-notice replacement to face Nasrat Haqparast at UFC 293 PPV where he lost a very competitive bout via unanimous decision.
