UFC Austin Main Event & Co-Main Event Officially Announced

Two key lightweight bouts will act as the main event and co-main event of UFC Fight Night Austin event.

UFC President Dana White made an announcement via social media to confirm that Fight Night event on December 2 will take place at Moody Center in Austin, TX. He also announced that lightweight contenders Beneil Dariush and Arman Tsarukyan will clash in the headliner fight. The fight was earlier reported as the co-main event.

Additionaly, the previously reported main event of Dan Hooker and Bobby Green will actually be the co-main event.

All 4 men are ranked fighters in the lightweight division. Beneil Dariush is coming off a defeat at UFC 289 PPV against Charles Oliveira. Arman Tsarukyan is on a two-fight winning streak beating Joaquim Silva and Damir Ismagulov.

Dan Hooker is currently riding a two-fight winning streak. In his most recent bout at UFC 290, he secured a victory over Jalin Turner by split decision. Prior to that, Hooker emerged victorious with a KO against Claudio Puelles at UFC 281 event.

Bobby Green is currently on a two-fight winning streak. His most recent bout was at UFC on ESPN+ 87, where he defeated Grant Dawson via KO. Before that, Green achieved a notable victory over Tony Ferguson at the UFC 291 event, which was also recognized as the Performance of the Night.
