A report has revealed the main event of UFC Fight Night event on December 2 in Austin, TX.

Dan Hooker is set to headline UFC Austin event against Bobby Green. The report comes from Magic M of Magic & Andrew MMA Betting Show on Youtube. Alex Behunian of MMA Mania has also corroborated the report.

Both fighters are UFC veterans and are currently ranked in UFC’s lightweight rankings. Hooker is ranked at #9 in the lightweight division, while Green is at #12.

Hooker has bounced back from a troublesome period that saw him lose 4 out of 5 bouts between 2020 and 2022. He then defeated Claudio Puelles at UFC 281 PPV via second-round TKO. In 2023, he defeated Jalin Turner via split decision at UFC 290 PPV.

For Bobby Green, this will be the fourth UFC fight in 2023. He started the year with a TKO win over Jared Gordan, which was later turned into a no-contest when an accidental clash of heads was noticed in the replays.

After that, Green defeated Tony Ferguson via submission late in the third round at UFC 291 PPV. He then headlined UFC Vegas 80 event earlier this month to beat Grant Dawson in merely 33 seconds to earn the Performance of the Night award.

UFC Austin Fight Night event on December 2, 2023, is set to take place at Moody Center in Austin, TX. A welterweight bout between Wellington Turner and Jared Gooden is also reported to take place at the show.
