Amanda Nunes headlined her seventh UFC PPV as she defended Women’s Bantamweight Championship for the first time in her second title reign. She was supposed to face Julianna Pena in a trilogy bout but Pena had to withdraw due to injury and Aldana was brought in as a worthy replacement. Aldana had won 4 of her last 5 bouts and won her last 2 bouts since the start of 2021. Was she the next one to pull off an upset against Nunes?

An interesting co-main event saw former lightweight champion Charles Oliveira taking on Beniel Dariush with the winner likely to challenge for the title next. Dariush was on an 8-fight winning streak while Oliveira’s 11-fight winning streak was broken by Islam Makhachev in his last outing. Was Dariush able to keep his streak going?
