Ankalaev is returning to action for the first time since a hard-fought split draw against Jan Blanchowicz at UFC 282 in December last year. That fight was for UFC Light Heavyweight Championship, and if Ankalaev wins here, he should be next to fight the champion as he is currently on a 10-fight winning streak.

Walker is on a streak himself with 3 wins in a row since losing to Jamahal Hill at the start of 2022. He has wins over Ion Cutelaba, Paul Craig and Anthony Smith, and also makes a strong case for a title shot soon. Will he be able to break Ankalaev’s streak?
