UFC to Not Extend Mike Breeden’s Contract
It seems like we won’t be able to see Mike Breeden in the UFC anymore.
Ariel Helwani recently posted a tweet where he stated that Mike Breeden himself revealed that UFC would not be extending his contract.

His win at UFC 294 was the last on his deal. He was hopeful the thrilling KO would be enough to get a new deal, but alas he has learned that isn’t the case at the moment.
He is coming off a thrilling third-round KO win against Anshul Jubli at UFC 294. Mike Breeden was hopeful that this KO victory would convince the UFC to retain him. However, he learned that wasn’t the case.
Breeden’s fight at UFC 294 was the last fight under his current contract. And that means he is technically a free agent now.
Mike Breeden started his UFC journey with three back-to-back losses. And then finally he managed to get his first UFC win at UFC 294, but that turned out to be his last UFC win.
Now it will be interesting to see where he will appear next after having this bittersweet run in the UFC.
