Bellator 300 Announced for October 7, 2023 with 4 Title Fights

Bellator 300 has now been scheduled with a set date and venue, along with an exceptional main card that holds historical significance.

Bellator 300 is set for October 7 at the Pechanga Arena in San Diego, with 4 title bouts on the main card. A heavyweight title bout will headline the event, where Ryan Bader will defend his title against Linton Vassell.

Ryan Bader is currently on a three-fight winning streak. Bader’s recent match was against Fedor Emelianenko at Bellator 200 event, where he won by KO. Linton Vassell is coming up with a five-fight winning streak. Vassell’s recent match was against Valentin Moldavsky at Bellator 292 event, where he won by KO.

The match between Bader and Vassell will mark a rematch of their previous encounter at Bellator 186 event in November 2017. During that bout, Bader secured victory with a TKO, successfully defending his light heavyweight title.

3 other matches include women’s featherweight title bout between Cris Cyborg vs Cat Zingano, the lightweight title bout between Usman Nurmagomedov vs Brent Primus, and Liz Carmouche, who is set to defend her women’s flyweight title against Ilima-Lei Macfarlane. Cris Cyborg is currently on a six-fight winning streak. Cyborg’s recent match was in boxing, where she faced and defeated Gabrielle Holloway by unanimous decision. Cyborg renewed her contract with Bellator earlier this year. Cyborg is widely acknowledged as one of the best female fighters in history, having secured championship titles in prominent organizations such as Bellator, the UFC, Strikeforce, and Invicta.

Cat Zingano is currently on a four-fight winning streak. Zingano’s recent bout was against Leah McCourt at Bellator 293 event, where she won by unanimous decision.

Usman Nurmagomedov is currently at his peak with a total of 18-fight winning streak. Nurmagomedov’s recent bout was against Benson Henderson at Bellator 292 event, where he retained Bellator Lightweight Championship.

Brent Primus has suffered three losses and two wins in his five recent bouts. Primus’s recent bout was at Bellator 296 event against Mansour Barnaoui, where he won by unanimous decision.

Liz Carmouche is set to defend her women’s flyweight title against her close friend and training partner, Ilima-Lei Macfarlane. Liz Carmouche is currently on a six-fight winning streak. Carmouche’s recent bout was against DeAnna Bennett at Bellator 294 event, where she won by submission.

Ilima-Lei Macfarlane is currently on a two-fight winning streak. Macfarlane recent bout was against Kana Watanabe at Bellator 295 event where she won by a split decision.
