Liz Carmouche defended Bellator Women’s Flyweight Championship against DeAnna Bennett just one year after she defeated Juliana Velasquez to win the title for the first time. However, the title was on the line only for Carmouche after Bennett missed the weight by 1.2 lbs.
In the co-main event, Tim Johnson clashed with Said Sowma in a heavyweight bout. Sowma looked to stop his two fights losing streak here against Johnson who himself was on 3 fights losing streak.
