Gerald Meerschaert Set to Fight Andre Petroski at UFC 292
A new middleweight bout is set for the UFC 292 PPV event later this year.
Andre Petroski revealed that he would face Gerald Meerschaert inside the octagon at UFC 292 on August 19, 2023, in Boston. Petroski announced this matchup by sharing a post on his Instagram handle. You can see this post below.
Andre Petroski is in the red hot form and is on a four-fight winning streak. He is coming off a unanimous decision win against Wellington Turman at UFC 281. Before that, he defeated Nick Maximov and Hu Yaozong.
On the other hand, Gerald Meerschaert is coming off a first-round TKO loss against Joseph Pyfer at UFC 287. His last win came against Bruno Silva in August 2022.
Now, it remains to be seen whether Gerald will rebound from his recent loss and snap the winning streak of Petroski or will the latter extend his streak to five on August 19.
UFC 292 is set to be headlined by Aljamain Sterling vs Sean O’Malley bantamweight titles bout.
