Rani Yahya Out of Heili Alateng Bout at UFC Vegas 81
It seems like Rani Yahya won’t be participating in the scheduled bantamweight bout in October.
According to the latest reports, Rani Yahya is ruled out of his scheduled fight against Alateng Heili at UFC Vegas 81 on October 14, 2023.
Nolan King of MMA Junkie was the first one to report this matchup after confirming it with multiple sources. However, the reason for Rani Yahya’s withdrawal has not been revealed yet.

UFC is yet to make a decision on whether they will find Heili Alateng a replacement for this scheduled event or will the promotion shift this fight to another forthcoming event.
Rani Yahya is coming off a first-round KO loss against Montel Jackson earlier this year in April. Before that, he won two back-to-back fights against Kang Kyung-ho and Ray Rodriguez.
On the other hand, Alateng Heili is maintaining a two-fight winning streak. He defeated Chad Anheliger in his most recent bout at UFC 279.
