Belal Muhammad vs Tarek Suleiman Set for ADXC 1 Event
Belal Muhammad is set to make his grappling debut against Tarek Suleiman at the ADXC 1 event.
UFC Arabia’s Commentator Mohammed Jassim Al Hosani announced through an Instagram post that the Muhammad and Suleiman bout will be featured as the co-main event in the middleweight division.
Belal Muhammad is currently on a nine-fight winning streak in UFC. In his most recent bout at the UFC 288 event, he secured a victory by unanimous decision against Gilbert Burns. Prior to that, Muhammad defeated Sean Brady at UFC 280 via TKO.
Muhammad is seen as next in line for a welterweight title shot after a prospective Leon Edwards vs Colby Covington title fight and is not expected to fight in UFC this year again.
Tarek Suleiman has not competed in any fights in 2023. His most recent bout took place at the UAE Warriors 28 event, where he suffered a unanimous decision loss to Will Fleury. This defeat marked the end of his three-fight winning streak.
ADXC 1 event is scheduled for October 20, 2023, and it will be live from Mubadala Arena, featuring a welterweight bout where Benson Henderson will face Neiman Gracie. ADXC 1 event is scheduled to take place just one day before the UFC 294 PPV event.
