Bellator 296: Mousai vs Edwards Results Live, Card, Time
Bellator MMA presents Bellator 296, also known as Bellator Paris, on May 12, 2023, at the renowned Accor Arena in Paris, France.
The headlining bout showcases two middleweight powerhouses as former Bellator Middleweight Champion Gegard Mousasi squares off against Fabian Edwards in a middleweight title eliminator clash. Mousasi was last in action in June last year at Bellator 282 where he lost the middleweight title to Johnny Eblen via one-sided unanimous decision. A win would earn him the chance for win the title for the third time.
After his two losses in 2020 and 2021, Edwards has wins over Lyoto Machida and Charlie Ward in 2022, which brought him back into contention for a title shot. Who will put everything on the line as they vie for a coveted shot at the middleweight championship?
The co-main event features Mansour Barnaoui and Brent Primus in a quarterfinal bout of the Bellator Lightweight World Grand Prix. Former 3-time Bellator Welterweight Champion Douglas Lima takes on France’s Costello Van Steenis. Another Frenchman on the main card is Thibault Gouti who faces Kane Mousah.
