Jamahal Hill Wants Jiri Prochazka at UFC 292 in August
The current UFC light heavyweight champion Jamahal Hill sets a deadline for his first title defense.
Jamahal Hill had a talk with the MMA Junkie where he stated that he was hearing maybe he get the fight in August in Boston at UFC 292. He added that he hopes he gets the contract soon because he is not willing to wait past August.
Jamahal Hill said he would move on Jiri Prochazka if the latter would not be able to meet the deadline. Then, he would take on anyone who is available. Hill also stated that right now no else than Jiri makes sense for the title fight.
Jamahal Hill is pretty confident in his abilities and he thinks that he can beat Jiri Prochazka with ease when these collide inside the octagon.
Jiri Prochazka won the title after defeating Glover Teixeira, but he had to vacate the title due to an injury. Jamahal Hill also defeated Glover at UFC 283 to win the vacant UFC light heavyweight title.
Now, Jiri Prochazka will challenge for the title he never lost and the fight against Jamahal Hill will most likely take place at UFC 292 in Boston.
