Matchroom Planning a mega Christmas Card ft Joshua & Benn
Matchroom is planning a mega card around Christmas this year featuring both Anthony Joshua and Conor Benn.
It is expected that Anthony Joshua vs Deontay Wilder will be announced for this card as Eddie Hearn might target Abu Dhabi for the venue of this mega show.
Both these fighters have agreed to face each other and are in negotiation via Skill Challenge Entertainment. At one point, it was also reported the fight would be canceled only if Saudi failed to deliver. As a result, one can expect to see the official announcement really soon.
Eddie Hearn also hinted that Joshua vs Wilder could land on a Conor Benn vs Chris Eubank Jr card. If Benn’s issues with the British Boxing Board of Control and the UK Anti-Doping Agency will not be resolved then Matchroom would prefer Abu Dhabi for the venue of Benn’s next fight.

For now, it remains to be seen whether Eddie Hearn actually books Joshua to fight for the third time in a single year or not.
