PBC & Amazon Prime Announce Rights Deal for Boxing Events

Premier Boxing Champions and Amazon Prime Video have revealed a multiyear agreement to showcase boxing events on the streaming service from 2024.

Marie Donoghue of Amazon expressed excitement for the partnership with Premier Boxing Champions, aiming to deliver top boxers’ bouts to Prime Video, broadening access for fans to experience these thrilling events.

In the inaugural year, an estimated twelve to fourteen events, including pay-per-view matches and bouts accessible to Prime Video subscribers. This also includes many non-PPV events which will also be additionally available in UK & Ireland.

Showtime previously televised PBC fights and PPV events, but the network would discontinue its boxing programming by the year’s end.

Ahead of each PPV presentation, there will be a two-hour prelims card exclusively on Prime Video free for its subscribers. PBC PPV events will also remain accessible through cable and satellite providers, alongside their availability on Prime Video.

PBC boasts of one of the biggest boxing roster currently, which also includes the likes of Canelo Alvarez, Gervonta Davis, David Benavidez and the Charlo twins just to name a few as well as a contract for a rematch between Terence Crawford and Errol Spence Jr.
