Elijah Garcia vs Armando Resendiz Set for Canelo-Charlo Undercard

A new middleweight bout between two emerging contenders is set for the Canelo Alvarez vs Jermell Charlo undercard. 

According to a report from BoxingScene, Elijah Garcia is set to collide against Armando Resendiz on September 30 at Canelo-Charlo undercard.

Both of them had their last match on the same card earlier this year on March 4 where they registered impressive victories. 

Elijah Garcia who is just 20 years old is still undefeated and is coming off a KO win against Amilcar Vidal Jr. He aims to be the Middleweight Champion by the age he is 21, and so far he seems to be on the right path. 

On the other hand, Armando Resendiz pulled off an upset win over the former World Champion Jarrett Hurd via tenth-round KO. Resendiz displayed an amazing performance to beat the favorite. 

Along with Garcia vs Resendiz, the Canelo-Charlo undercard will also feature Jesus Ramos vs Erickson Lubin on September 30, 2023.
