5 heavyweight bouts are announced for the undercard of Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing PPV event.
WBC Heavyweight Champion Fury and former UFC Heavyweight Champion Ngannou are set for a crossover super fight on October 28, 2023, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Now, Top Rank has revealed 4 fights on the PPV undercard portion of the event.
David Adeleye(12-0) and Fabio Wardley(16-0) were already announced for the event after they faced off at the press conference for the event. Wardley defeated Michael Polite Coffie via fourth round TKO at Joshua vs Franklin undercard. Adeleye was in action in June to beat Emir Ahmatovic. British Heavyweight Championship will be on the line in this bout.
Former WBO World Heavyweight Champion Joseph Parker(32-3) is also set for the undercard as he takes on Canada’s Simon Kean. Parker has two wins this year after he lost to Joe Joyce last year in July. Kean is coming off a win over Eric Molina in March this year.
Canada’s Arslanbek Makhmudov(17-0) will take on Croatia’s Agron Smakici(19-2). Makhmudov defeated Raphael Akpejiori on Jared Anderson vs Charles Martin undercard. Smakici is coming off a loss against Agit Kabayel in March this year.
Moses Itauma(5-0) will return to action after the gap of just 5 weeks against an unnamed opponent in a 6-round bout. Itauma featured on Zhilei Zhang vs Joe Joyce 2 undercard where he defeated Amine Boucetta. Itauma made his debut this year and will be featuring in his sixth bout this year.
Additionally, Martin Bakole(19-1) will take on 51 fights veteran Carlos Takem(43-7-1) in a 10 rounds bout. Takem returned to action with a win over Tony Yoka in March. Bakole is coming off a win over Ihor Shevadzutskyi in April this year.
