WWE Survivor Series 2023: Carlito Out, Dragon Lee vs Escobar Set
Dragon Lee is scheduled to compete against Santos Escobar in a one-on-one match at WWE Survivor Series 2023 PLE.
Santos Escobar was initially scheduled to compete against Carlito at Survivor Series 2023 PLE. However, during the November 24 episode of SmackDown, Escobar attacked Carlito. As a consequence of this assault, Nick Aldis announced backstage that Carlito wasn’t medically fit to compete.
As Aldis was about to cancel the bout, Dragon Lee intervened, expressing his desire to face Escobar. Aldis subsequently confirmed the match between Dragon Lee and Santos Escobar for the event.

Dragon Lee’s upcoming bout marks his first appearance in a PLE match within the main roster. Since his debut on SmackDown, Lee has remained undefeated. Lee’s recent fight was on November 17 episode of SmackDown where he defeated Axiom.
Santos Escobar’s last singles fight was on October 20 episode of SmackDown where he got defeated by Montez Ford.
Escobar’s match vs Carlito was set up after he turned on Rey Mysterio. He claimed that Carlito caused a misunderstanding between him and Mysterio which forced his actions.
Survivor Series 2023 is set to take place on November 25, 2023, at Allstate Arena in Chicago. Men and Women’s War Games matches are the key bouts on the card. WWE Women’s World Championship match is also set for the event, where Rhea Ripley will face Zoey Stark.
This one might steal the show.
