AJ Styles vs Daniel Bryan- Intercontinental Championship Final
After Sami Zayn was stripped of the Intercontinental Championship, a tournament was booked to crown the new champion. AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan won the hard-fought first-round matches. But the semifinal stage went out of the window when their opponents got involved in the hit and run drama. Daniel Bryan ultimately had to beat Sheamus to get to the finals while AJ decided to get a bye into the final.
As the match was taped last week, the rumors are saying that they put up a great match. And why wouldn’t they? Two high-class performers, who had great chemistry, and had a good rivalry 18 months back. This match has more chances to be good than bad. So, buckle up and tune into SmackDown.
Sheamus & Jeff Hardy Contract Signing
Before their clash at Backlash 2020 PPV, Sheamus and Hardy would be involved in a contract signing segment. Maybe the hit-and-run incident drama was cringeworthy, but their rivalry has been action-packed since the start. And as the rumors had it, we are up for another action-packed but a cringeworthy segment.
Heavy Machinery & Braun Strowman vs The Miz, John Morrison & Dolph Ziggler
In another classic case of typical WWE fashion, we are up for a tag team match which combines two different ongoing storylines. WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman will defend his title against The Miz and John Morrison at Backlash 2020 while Otis has been in a feud with Dolph Ziggler for some time now. But, is it advisable for Strowman to wander around Mr. Money in the Bank?
