The build-up for Roman Reigns vs Cody Rhodes WrestleMania rematch has been all about The Rock and his involvement in the tag team match. However, this week on SmackDown, only two of them(& Paul Heyman) will be in the ring face-to-face for the first time during this build-up. What will these two men have to say to each other when they face each other?
Tag Team Title Qualification Tournament Matches
A 6-team ladder match is set for WrestleMania 40 for Undisputed Tag Team Championship. 4 more tag teams will be competing for the place in this match. The Street Profits(Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) and AOP(Akam & Rezar) will clash to continue their rivalry as both teams try to get one step closer for a place at WrestleMania. Grayson Waller & Austin Theory will face The OC(Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson) for the other spot.
Mysterio vs Escobar
Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar have been on a warpath for the last 5 months ever since Escobar failed to protect Mysterio from Logan Paul at Crown Jewel 2023 event. Since then, Escobar has continuously been a thorn in LWO’s back and has reformed Legado Del Fantasma. Rey Mysterio finally had enough last week when Escobar and company beat up Dragon Lee. They are now set for a singles match this week on SmackDown. Will Mysterio get LWO pride back, or will Escobar get a big scalp on his resume?
