WWE RAW Results February 26, 2024, Updates, Winners, Highlights
WWE RAW episode of February 26, 2024 continued the build-up for WrestleMania 40 event. Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch came face-to-face. Cody Rhodes faced Grayson Waller. Sami Zayn had a rematch with Shinsuke Nakamura.
The New Day faced Imperium in a tag team street fight while Nia Jax faced Liv Morgan in a singles match. Check below for results from WWE RAW February 26, 2024 episode with updates and highlights.
RESULTS & UPDATES
The show opened with footage of the arrival of Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch before we got a recap of Elimination Chamber event.
Dominik Mysterio introduced Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley. Rhea cut a promo in the ring talking about how she headlined and won at Elimination Chamber in her home country. Becky Lynch came out to interrupt her. Becky said it was good that Rhea won in front of her family because now they would not have to travel to WrestleMania to see Rhea lose. Dominik told Becky to not talk to Mami like that. Becky told Rhea to get Dominik to shut down or “The Man” would do it herself. Rhea barked back and dared not to disrespect “Latino Heat” again before claiming that Becky had disappointed everyone for long. She also claimed that Mami would remain on the top.
After Rhea left, Nia Jax attacked Becky from behind and told Rhea that they were far from over. Nia hit a leg drop on Becky. Officials ran out to stop the beatdown.
Backstage, Nia said she attacked Becky because Becky did not deserve to face Rhea since Nia defeated Becky last month. Nia said Liv Morgan would feel her wrath now tonight.
Sami Zayn defeated Shinsuke Nakamura in a singles match. Sami took control of the match heading into the first match with a dive on the outside. Nakamura had taken over control until we returned. A back and forth led to Nakamura hitting Kinshasa, but Sami kicked out of the pin. Nakamura beat up Sami some more before throwing him into the barricade. Sami beat the countdown but Nakamura caught him with another Kinshasa. Sami put her leg on the ropes to break the pin. Sami made a comeback with an exploder and Helluva kick to get the pinfall.
Chelsea Green was scheduled to face Raquel Rodriguez in a singles match. She cut a promo saying that it was Adam Pearce’s fault that she lost Battle Royal last week since Pearce was the one to put Raquel in the match. Chelsea claimed she would beat Raquel tonight.
Raquel Rodriguez defeated Chelsea Green in a singles match. Green slapped Raquel on crossing an imaginary line that she drew in the ring. That was the only offense from Green in the match as Raquel beat her up and hit Tihana bomb for a quick win.
Sami Zayn is interviewed backstage and said he could not imagine what could have happened if he lost tonight, but it did not came down to it. Imperium’s Giovanni Vinci, Ludwig Kaiser and then Gunther walked passed Sami. Gunther and Sami had a breif face-off.
Cody Rhodes was backstage and said he would wait for The Rock’s response to his challenge for a match.
Intercontinental Champion Gunther came out with his Imperium buddies and admitted that Jey Uso came close to beating him last week. Gunther claimed that nobody is perfect but he is very close, and would make this title the most pretigous one. He asked who would face him at WrestleMania, and named Sami Zayn, Chad Gable and R-Truth as names he had heard from the fans. All 4 men from Judgment Day came out and Priest claimed that Judgment Day would add more gold at WrestleMania including Intercontinental title. When Gunther asked who is it going to be, Dominik Mysterio stepped up. It led to some shoving before Judgment Day held back Priest from engaging in a fight with Gunther.
Rhea Ripley approached the rest of The Judgment Day and asked Dominik Mysterio about confronting GUNTHER and Imperium. Dominik said he has got this. Rhea smirked at him that he better had. After she walked away, Balor told Dominik to smooth things over with Rhea. As Dominik was going, he ran into Andrade El Idolo and they chat for a bit.
Imperium(Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci) defeated New Day(Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) in a tag team Street Fight. The fight started on the ramp itself as New Day made their entrance. They also went into the crowd for a while before Kofi and Woods hit moves from the top ropes to take us into the second commercial. The finish came with Vinci pushing Kofi off the top rope onto a table setup on the floor. Vinci then hit Woods with a chair. Kaiser slammed Woods on another chair before rolling him up and using his jeans as leverage to get the pinfall.
Chad Gable went to RAW Manager Adam Pearce to ask to give him the title shot against Gunther at WrestleMania. Gable talked about how Gunther made his kids cry and this is about his family.
Zoey Stark & Shayna Baszler defeated Indi Hartwell & Candice LeRae in a tag team match. Baszler got a blind tag in the final seconds and went on to choke Indi from behind to get the win.
Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa and The Miz went to R-Truth and tried to cheer him up by hyping something big coming for them. R-Truth called them Re-Generation-X.
Drew McIntyre came out to the ring and talked about his burst eardrum that he suffered at Elimination Chamber. He said but, he is no CM Punk to pull out of WrestleMania with an injury. He hyped his WrestleMania title match against Seth Rollins until Rollins came out. Drew begged Rollins to get out of helping Cody Rhodes against The Bloodline as they would interfere in their match at WrestleMania and taint his victory. Rollins said if not stopped, The Bloodline would also come for World Heavyweight Championship eventually. Rollins argued that the title is bigger than him and Drew, therefore they need to stop The Bloodline.
Nia Jax defeated Liv Morgan in a singles match via disqualification after Becky Lynch attacked Nia.
The commentary team paid condolences for the passing of Ole Anderson – founding member of Four Horsemen.
Backstage, Grayson Waller said Cody Rhodes would pay for disrespecting him at Elimination Chamber.
Becky Lynch went to RAW Manager Adam Pearce and demanded a match against Nia Jax. Pearce booked it for next week. Liv Morgan came in as she was pissed at Becky for interrupting her match. She told Becky that everything is not about Becky.
Drew McIntyre interrupted Jey Uso backstage and taunted him. This led to a brawl between them.
Cody Rhodes defeated Grayson Waller in a singles match. Austin Theory was ringside and interfered in the match multiple times. Cody hit Theory with a suicide dive before countering Waller in the ring with a Cody Cutter and Crossrhodes to get the pinfall.
After the match, Paul Heyman came out with 3 men in suits which he revealed to be suspended NYPD cops. Cody Rhodes brought in a steel chair in the ring. Heyman asked Cody to withdraw his challenge to The Rock. Cody refused to do it. NYPD cops got into the ring before Cody told them anyone not to take one more step. Heyman said obviously it did not apply to him. Cody replied it did, and started beating up 3 men with chair shots. After this, he screamed at Heyman that Bloodline is not hunting him, but he is hunting the Bloodline.
