WWE RAW May 22: Cody, Brock, Contract Signing, Imperium Trios Set

A trios match, a contract signing segment for Night of Champions and Brock Lesnar’s appearance is announced for WWE RAW May 22, 2023 episode.

Brock Lesnar will be under the same roof with Cody Rhodes as he will be appearring on the go-home episode of RAW before Night of Champions 2023 PLE. Cody and Brock are set for a rematch at Night of Champions.

Cody was able to counter a kimura lock into a pinfall to get the win at Backlash in the first encounter. Lesnar attacked Rhodes last week and demanded a fight at Night of Champions.

Becky Lynch announced that she will face Trish Stratus at Night of Champions and they will make the match official with a contract signing segment on WWE RAW May 22 episode.

Additionally, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn will team up with a mystery partner to take on Imperium trio. Owens and Sami defeated Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci of Imperium last week. Imperium’s leader Intercontinental Champion Gunther confronted Owens and Sami and demanded respect for his teammates.

Owens responded with a demand for a fight to which Gunther agreed and told them to get a tag team partner. Later, Imperium interrupted Owens and Sami’s match against Judgment Day after striking a deal with Paul Heyman, leading to their loss.

Lastly, Zoey Stark will be in action once again on RAW after her debut last week. She will face Candice LeRae after an altercation with her and mocking her backstage when she stood up for Nikki Cross.
