WWE RAW Live Results & Updates- 27 April 2020

RAW Tag Team Champions The Street Profits respond to The Viking Raiders and accept the challenge for a title match next week.

Ricochet & Cedric Alexender vs Ever-Rise

Ricochet hits the arm drag to start with. Cedric tags in and Ricochet slams their opponent on his knees. Ricochet comes in and Parker slams him before tagging in Martel. They double team Ricochet and keeps him in their corner with quick tags. Parker now puts him in an arm and headlock. Martel back in and drops Ricochet on his knee. Ricochet slams his face into the turnbuckle and the hot tags

Alexender unloads on Parker now. Martel comes in and Cedric gets an assist from him to hit bulldog on Parker. Ricochet is tagged in and hits a DDT. Ricochet with a standing Shooting Star Press for a 2 count. Martel pulls Cedric out to the floor. Ricochet takes Martel out again before Parker catches him with a roll-up for 2 count. Cedric tags back in and Ricochet assists the flatliner with the dropkick to get the win.

Winners- Ricochet and Cedric Alexander

After the match, MVP appears on the screen and re-introduces Brandon Vink and Shane Thorne. It looks like he will be their manager now. He tells Ricochet and Alexander that their last week’s win was a fluke and will arrange a rematch in future. Ric and Alex are looking up for it in the ring.

We see Apollo Crews backstage, injured, and walking with crutches. Charly approaches and says she is sorry to see him like this and that he missed on the title. Crews starts to cry before he could say anything and leaves. He is out of MITB also, as per WWE website.

Money in the Bank Contract Signing

Jerry Lawler is in the ring for the contract signing. He hypes the Money In the Bank PPV and announces Seth Rollins first to come out. Rollins is in a suit and tie. Lawler now announces WWE Champion Drew McIntyre, in normal clothes. Lawler leaves the ring after Drew asks him to. Drew signs the contract and encourages Seth to sign now, saying Seth is the one who jumped him a few weeks ago.

Rollins tells him that he doesn’t want this, but he has to do this. He dropped Drew only to get his attention, to get them to this match, to get the WWE Title where it needs to be. Rollins says it’s bigger than Drew and him. He also says Drew will be a great champion some day, but he is not a leader. Rollins is a leader. Rollins goes on about being a leader in his career. He also talks about how people turned on him.

Drew retorts that it was a really passionate speech from Rollins but it has become clear to everyone that Rollins is completely full of s–t. He ridicules Rollins to blame fans for turning on him. He also tells him that he will not let Rollins win the title, under any circumstances. Drew also gives a few advice to Rollins. Number 1- shut his mouth and stop talking forever. Number two, Rollins should finish the job that he started two weeks back and win at Money In the Bank. Otherwise he sure will go after Seth.

They both stand up and face off. Rollins says the big picture will become very clear after his win at Money in the Bank. Seth signs the contract. Drew slams Rollins’ face in the table as he finishes signing. He clears the ring and drops Rollins with a Glasgow Kiss. Drew waits for a Claymore Kick but Murphy attacks him from the apron. Murphy beat down McIntyre. Rollins gets up and seems upset with Murphy. But he hugs him the next moment. McIntyre suddenly hits a Claymore and Rollins gets out of the way with Murphy getting levelled. Drew stands tall in the ring as Rollins retreat. The show goes off the air.
