Mixed Tag Team
Things kick-off with the Universal Champion Seth Rollins. Seth starts off with his speech but Becky Lynch is out right away. Becky gets a great response from the crowd. Rollins tells her that she has interrupted him. Seth Rollins gives credit to Corbin, saying he was smart enough, knowing that he could not wrestle him. But he says he wasn’t smart enough to know that he has the best backup on the planet. Becky Lynch starts mocking Lacey Evans for talking trash week after week and then tapping out right away.
Baron Corbin’s music hit but it was Lacey Evans who attacks Becky Lynch from behind and she doesn’t take long to fight back. Rollins pulls her back but Becky slightly shoves him, indicating that she wants to take care of business. Rollins smiles and allows her. Meanwhile, Corbin also comes in but Rollins easily disposes of him. Corbin takes the mic and tells Rollins to put the title around Becky Lynch’s shoulders and then tells him to go home and make a sandwich for ‘the Man’.
Baron Corbin says that Lacey Evans is the only real woman on the roster and would happily choose her as a mixed tag team partner. Lacey Evans challenges them to a Mixed Tag Team Match at Extreme Rules and Corbin puts the stipulation that both the Universal and RAW Women’s title will be on the line for the match.
The Usos and the New Day beat Daniel Bryan, Rowan and the Revival in Tag Team Elimination Match
Daniel Bryan enters with Rowan as we head to break. After we return, other teams make their way. The stipulation is something like if one member of the tag team gets pinned, then the team gets eliminated. E.g. Woods gets pinned, Big E also gets eliminated from the match.
Daniel Bryan wants to start but Scott Dawson tells him to step out. Bryan shoves him and there’s already some tension. Woods and Dawson start the match and Woods is quick to tag Big E in. Rowan tags himself in and he overpowers Big E before sending The Usos out. Big E rolls out of the way when Rowan attempts a splash.
Bryan and Woods tag in. Woods lands a kick on Bryan but the SmackDown tag team champion sends him out. He’s teasing a face turn as he’s feeding off the Washington energy. He hits a suicide dive but Woods moves out and Dawson gets hit. Daniel Bryan begins the Yes Kicks but when he runs the ropes, Wilder uppercuts him. This allows Woods to pin Bryan after a roll up. Daniel Bryan and Rowan are eliminated.
Soon, Woods try to fend off the Revival but gets caught in the Shatter Machine and is pinned. The New Day is eliminated. After the break, the Usos take out The Revival with a tandem dive over the top rope. Jey hits Wilder with a crossbody from the top rope for two-count. Jimmy tags in and they hit a double team move for a near fall.
Wilder knocks Jey off of the apron and slams Jimmy. The Revival hits a double team neckbreaker for another two-count. Dawson cuts Jimmy off on the top rope. The Revival tries to pin the wrong Uso and Jey is able to take down Wilder and hits the Superfly splash to take the win.
