Welcome to the live blog for WWE RAW 19 July 2021 episode which will deal with the fallout from Money in the Bank 2021 episode and build-up towards SummerSlam 2021 PPV.

The show will be the first for WWE RAW in front of a live crowd since March 2020. It will air from American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX. John Cena will kick off the episode to explain why he has returned to WWE. New Challengers are expected to emerge for all the championships- WWE title, RAW Women’s Championship, United States title and Tag Team Championship.   • Jaxson Ryker defeated Elias via pinfall in the Symphony of Destruction match.

Why is John Cena Back?

John Cena’s music opens the show. The crowd gives Cena a big pop as he comes out to the stage. Cena heads to the ring and takes a mic. He says he missed this, he missed the crowd, their confusion, and the chaos and dueling chants. He gives props to the crowd for being defeaning loud. He then moves to interrupt Roman Reigns’ celebration last night at Money in the Bank. Cena says the fans have brought him back with their love and connection.

And it was Roman Reigns who brought him back. He then challenges Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship match at SummerSlam. He says it is not because of 17-time world titles, but because Roman Reigns is an ash*le. Cena says Roman is over-exposed and he is needed to be brought down a peg. Cena continues for a while talking about Roman. He stops and says it is time to start the show now.

Riddle’s music hits and he comes out on his scooter. Riddle enters the ring and birds fly as he throws his shoes. Cena cuts off the music and starts “bro” chants dueling with Riddle. The crowd gets behind them. Cena exits and Riddle’s music starts again. We cut to a break.

Riddle & The Viking Raiders vs AJ Styles, Omos & John Morrison(w/ The Miz)

We return to John Morrison making his entrance with the Miz. AJ Styles, Omos, The Viking Raiders and Riddle are already in the ring. Morrison goes to the announcer and tells him to call him the Moist Wanted Men in US. Morrison enters the ring as he gets announced.

AJ starts with Riddle. AJ hits a shoulder tackle. Riddle hits a kick and a back body drop. AJ tags in Morrison. Morrison grabs hold of Riddle’s leg. Riddle puts on crossface as Morrison keeps hold on his leg. Riddle and Morrison go back and forth with strikes. Riddle hits a gutwrench suplex. Ivar tags in and sends Morrison into a knee strike from Erik. More double teamwork from the Viking Raiders.

Morrison turns it around against Riddle and tags in AJ. Riddle hits a ripcord knee to AJ on the apron. Morrison sends The Viking to the floor, but he gets dropped on the floor by them. Riddle joins them on the floor for a high five. Omos throws AJ on them on the floor. We cut to a break.

Omos is dominating Riddle as we return. Riddle tries to fight back and tag out but Omos pulls him away from the corner. Riddle is whipped to the corner and Omos hits a tackle in the corner. AJ comes in and drops Riddle. Morrison tags in and Riddle hits him with sidekicks. Morrison puts on a submission move on Riddle’s neck. Riddle comes out of the submission and hits a big kick.

Erik gets the tag. He was going for a suplex, but AJ avoids it and hits a flurry of strikes. AJ is whipped to the corner and gets dropped by Erik. Back and forth action as AJ hits a Pele Kick. Ivar and Morrison tag in. They avoid each other’s moves for a while before Ivar hits a clothesline. Ivar hits a cannonball in the corner. He misses the moonsault from the top. Morrison also misses the Starship pain.

Riddle grabs the drip stick(spray gun) from The Miz. He sprays water on Omos from it and throws it back to Miz. Omos turns around and thinks Miz is the one to spray on him. Omos goes to attack Miz but Morrison cuts him. Omos tosses Morrison into the ring. The Viking Raiders hits the Viking Experience for the pin and the win.

Winner – Riddle & The Viking Raiders

Riddle and The Vikings celebrate in the ring. AJ has his hands over his head, thinking about how they lost the match.

We cut to Jaxson Ryker backstage and he is staring in the camera. A replay of the strap match against Elias from three weeks back. We cut back to Ryker who is still staring into the camera.

Jaxson Ryker vs Elias – Symphony of Destruction Match

Elias is in the ring. He works the crowd as usual. Ryker interrupts him from the big screen and tells him that nobody wants him and that he will be destroyed in the Symphony of Destruction. Ryker makes his entrance and we see musical instruments set up around the ring. This is a Symphony of Destruction match.

Ryker starts with double ax handle. Elias also hits a few punches. Elias hits a kick and throws Ryker out of the ring. Elias goes to use the keyboard but Ryker runs him over. Elias is sent into the barricade. Ryker slams him into the drum next. Ryker was going for a Guitar shot from the apron but Elias catches him with a knee strike.

Elias charges at Ryker but ends up into the big gong on the floor. Ryker picks up a guitar and breaks it on Elias’ break as we cut to a break.

Elias is looking for a move on the apron as we return. Ryker counters and they get back to the ring. Elias hits a back elbow and unloads on him. They go back to the floor. Ryker sends Elias face-first into the ring post. Ryker takes some shots with guitar. Elias tries to stop him with drums but Ryker swats it away. Elias turns it around the piano, but Ryker slams him on top of the piano to get a two-count on the piano.

They trade shots standing on top of the piano. Ryker counters a move but Elias trips him over the piano for a two-count. Elias sends Ryker over the steel steps. He picks up a cello and slams it across Ryker’s back. Elias breaks it on his back on the second attempt. Ryker still kicks out. Elias gets frustrated now and hits some elbows. Back to the ring, Elias gets to the top but Ryker takes some big shots on him. Ryker hits a superplex from the top into some instruments set up on the floor. Ryker crawls on top of Elias to get the pin.

Winner – Jaxson Ryker

Mansoor is backstage with Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville and asks for Mustafa Ali to team up with him. Ali walks up and Deville tells him about the tag match. Ali says he never said anything about teaming up next week, and he is not happy. Mansoor talks about Ali trying to teach him lessons as of late, and says what better way than to stand next to him in a match. Ali ends up agreeing to the match but warns Mansoor to not screw this up.

WWE United States Champion Sheamus walks up to complain about yet another match against Humberto Carrillo, and why he has to face Carrillo again after beating him already. Deville says it’s only fair to give Carrillo a chance to earn a title match. Sheamus tells them not to be surprised if Carrillo leaves the match in a solid steel mask after Sheamus smashes his face. Sheamus walks off.

Charlotte’s Coronation

RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair comes out for her Championship Coronation. We see the replay of how she won the title from Rhea Ripley at Money In the Bank. She gets on the mic and talks about how proud she is to be your new Raw Women’s Champion. Rhea Ripley can do as many of her moves as she likes, but she’ll never live up to the original. She adds up all of her title reigns and proclaims herself the only 11-time women’s champion in the history of WWE.

Rhea Ripley’s music hits and she comes out. She gets into the ring and takes the mic. Some chants broke out for her. Rhea calls for a rematch tonight. Flair says she is no condition to face her. Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce come out to the stage. Sonya congratulates Charlotte for the 11th title. Sonya brings up Flair’s statement that she could face Rhea any night of the week, so why not tonight. Pearce announce Flair vs Rhea for later tonight. The crowd cheers. Charlotte attacks Rhea’s knee before going to the floor. Rhea is angry at her as she looks on while Flair makes her exit.

We get a recap of the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match. Alexa Bliss appears from her playground backstage and says she is super excited about her guest tonight.

Tamina & Natalya vs Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler

The match has already started as we return. Shayna has Natalya in a leg lock submission. Nia attacks Tamina on the floor and hits her with a Samoan drop. Shanya brings down Natalya in the ring and tags in Nia. Nia and Shayna work on Natalya. Shayna stomps on Natalya’s arm. Nia comes in but misses a tackle in the corner. Natalya hits back-to-back clotheslines to bring down Nia. Nia recovers to hit her with a body slam.

Shanya comes in and Natalya takes her to her corner to tag in Tamina. Tamina drops Nia from the apron. Shanya rolls her up for a two-count. Shanya with more strikes but Tamina rocks her with a kick. Tamina goes to the top and Reginald runs an interference. Natalya takes care of him. Tamina hits a superkick to get the pin on Shayna.

Winner – Natalya & Tamina

After the match, Natalya and Tamina make their exit. Shayna is arguing with Nia in the ring over Reginald and how they lost their edge since coming with Reginald. Nia hugs Reginald but then drops him with a headbutt. Nia and Shayna exit while Reginald recovers. “Regi Sucks” chants break out.

The 24/7 Champion Akira Tozawa runs out and many are following him. Tozawa gets into the ring where Reginald is already there. Reginald ducks a punch and drops Tozawa. Reginald hits a senton and gets the pin. Reginald does acrobatics after his win as the crowd is behind him now. Reginald does some moonsaults on the stage as he makes his exit.

Sheamus vs Humberto Carrillo

Humberto ducks a shot and unloads on Sheamus. Sheamus turns it around on the floor. He goes for a suplex from the ropes but Carrillo uses the ropes for his advantage. Carrillo with a crossbody from the top. Carrillo continues to be in control. Sheamus cuts off his suicide dive and powerbombs him on the apron. We cut to a break.

Sheamus has Carrillo in a shoulder and chin lock as we return. Carrillo gets to his feet but Sheamus hits a backbreaker. Sheamus with his signature blows on the chest. Sheamus tries to work on his jaw but Carrillo chews on his finger. Carrillo hits a few sidekicks. He charges into the corner but runs into a big boot. Carrillo takes Sheamus down with headscissors from the top. Carrillo hits a suicide dive as Sheamus gets to the floor.

Back to the ring, Carrillo hits a missile dropkick to get a near fall. Sheamus hits a big punch and then a headbutt with his mask. Sheamus hits the Brogue kick to get the pin.

Winner – Sheamus

Sheamus celebrates his win briefly before making his exit.

Bobby Lashley vs Keith Lee – Championship Contender’s Match

The bell rings and the crowd is singing “Bask in his Glory.” They lock up and come to a stalemate after a while. Another lock up and Lashley takes Lee to the corner for a break. Lashley takes a shot at Lee in the corner. More punches from Lashley before Lee picks him up and slams him to the corner. Lee does the same thing in the other corner.

Lashley with a big boot before Lee does some acrobatic stuff and hits the crossbody. Lashley fights out of a powerbomb and hits a flatliner. WWE Champion uses the ropes to an advantage. Lashley unloads in the corner. A clothesline sends Lee out to the floor. Lashley tries to send him into the ring post. Lee turns it around to slam Lashley against the post, followed by a splash quickly.

Lee gets distracted by MVP as he was getting back to the ring. Lashley runs him down with a strike. Lashley hits a spear on the floor before getting back to the ring. Lashley waits for Lee to get up and puts on the Hurt Lock. Lee snaps out of the lock but Lashley quickly hits a spinebuster. Lashley hits a spear to get the pin.

Winner – Bobby Lashley

After the match, Lashley celebrates his win. MVP enters the ring as Lashley hits the corner. The music hits and Goldberg is making his return. Lashley says f**k as Goldberg comes out to the stage. The crowd is chanting Goldberg as he makes his way to the ring. Lashley and Goldberg face off in the ring, separated by MVP. Goldberg takes the mic and says he is next. Lashley wants to get engaged but MVP stops him. MVP takes Lashley out of the ring. Goldberg keeps staring at him as we cut to the break.

Kevin Patrick catches up with Lashley and MVP backstage. Patrick wanted a reaction to Goldberg’s challenge. MVP tells him that what Goldberg did to him was disrespectful.

Jinder Mahal & Drew McIntyre

Jinder Mahal is in the ring with Veer and Shanky. Jinder reminds us that it’s his birthday, but he is happier that Drew McIntyre is not the Mr. Money in the Bank. Jinder recaps their recent rivalry as we get replays on the screen. Jinder then says while he could get more motorcycles but Drew will never get an opportunity for WWE Title until Lashley is WWE Champion.

Jinder then asks Shanky to sing him happy birthday. Shanky sings him Happy Birthday in a very bad voice. Drew McIntyre enters the ring with a chair and smacks Jinder with it. Veer tries to attack Drew but he also get hit by chair. Jinder rolls to the floor and so does Veer. Shanky tries to talk to Drew but he attacks him also. Drew smacks Shanky with chair shots as the crowd counts the shots. Jinder and Veer are watching from the ramp in anger.

Drew gets another chair and starts smacking Shanky on the back with it. The crowd counts the chair shots at Drew stops only after 20 shots. Drew screams as the crowd pops for him hard.

Karrion Kross vs Jeff Hardy

Karrion Kross makes a dumbed-down version of his entrance. We cut to a break.

After the break, Jeff Hardy makes his way out to his old theme “No More Words.” Hardy gets into the ring now. The bell rings and the match starts.

Kross drops Hardy with a forearm. Kross hits Northern Light suplexes three times one after the other. Kross misses a big tackle in the corner and crashes into the ringpost. Hardy goes to the top but misses the Swanton Bomb. Kross goes for the finisher but Hardy ducks and goes for the waistlock. Hardy hits a powerbomb with a bridge and uses the ropes for the advantage to get the pin.

Winner – Jeff Hardy

The crowd pops at the result and Hardy runs away quickly before Kross to understand what happened. Kevin Patrick gets into the ring for a reaction from Kross. Kross says Hardy might have won tonight but this will not end well for him. Eventually, everyone will fall to prey.

Charlotte Flair(c) vs Rhea Ripley – WWE RAW Women’s Championship Match

Rhea ducks and brings down Flair. Flair whips her to the corner but misses a splash. Rhea hits the corner splash. Back and forth continues. They trade strikes in the middle. Flair whips Rhea to the corner. Rhea comes back with a dropkick. Rhea with a few knee strikes to the face. Flair turns it around in the corner and hits a kick. Flair follows with a few chops. Rhea turns a suplex in an inside cradle for a two-count. Rhea goes for the suplex. Flair counters but Rhea hits a German suplex.

Rhea hits a basement dropkick for a two-count. Flair whips her to the corner and clotheslines her out to the floor. Flair kicks at her knee as Rhea tries to get back. Flair hits a big chop block on the floor. Flair takes her back to the ring now. The referee checks on Rhea and stops Flair from attacking her further. We cut to the last commercial of the night.

Flair is working on Rhea’s knees as we return. She stomps on the knee. Rhea fights back with clotheslines. Rhea with a bridge from Northern Light Suplex to get a two count. Flair with a slam to the turnbuckle and backbreaker combo. Rhea counters Flair with double knees, which hurts her own knees also. Rhea puts on the figure four. Flair turns it around and Rhea has to grab the ropes.

Flair loses it now and hits big chops in the corner. Rhea counters and hits Riptide. Flair was too close to the ropes though and gets her leg on the ropes to break the pin. Flair rolls out and grabs her title and starts to leave. Rhea follows her to the floor. Flair runs her over with the title belt. The referee calls for disqualification.

Winner – Rhea Ripley(Flair retains title)

After the match, Flair gets into the ring and laughs over her move to retain the title. Rhea is pissed and attacks Flair. They get into a brawl and go back and forth on the floor for a while. Rhea slams Flair into the ring post. Nikki ASH’s music hits and she runs out with the Money in the Bank briefcase. Rhea watches over as Nikki crosses her.

Charlotte Flair(c) vs Nikki ASH – WWE RAW Women’s Championship

Nikki hands over the briefcase over to the referee and the crowd pops hard. The bell rings and Nikki gets to the top. Nikki waits for Flair to get up and hits the crossbody off the top. Nikki gets the pin and the title.

Winner – Nikki ASH

Nikki runs into the front row with the title as the show goes off the air.
