Bron Breakker & The Creed Brothers vs Jinder Mahal & Indus Sher NXT Roadblock 2023

Welcome to the live results blog for WWE NXT Roadblock weekly special event, which will be live from WWE Performance Center in Orlando, FL, on March 7, 2023.

5 matches and 1 segment is set for the prelude to NXT Stand & Deliver 2023 event. Roxanne Perez will defend NXT Women’s Championship against legend and her inspiration Meiko Satomura. Former Toxic Attraction teammates Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne will clash in a grudge match after the fallout of the group.

NXT Champion Bron Breakker will also be in action at NXT Roadblock 2023 as he teams up with The Creed Brothers. The trio will take on Jinder Mahal, Veer & Sanga. Dijak and Tony D’Angelo will clash in a Jailhouse Street Fight where the goal will be put your opponent in a Jail cell.

Last match announced is between Andre Chase and Joey Gacy. Gacy’s Schism is tormenting Chase U and its student for the past weeks, leading to Chase calling out Gacy. Grayson Waller will get his wish as Shawn Michaels will return to screen in Grayson Waller Effect segment.

  • Tony D’Angelo defeated Dijak in a Jailhouse Street Fight.
  • Bron Breakker, Julius Creed & Brutus Creed defeated Jinder Mahal & Indus Sher in a tag team match via pinfall.
  • Gigi Dolin defeated Jacy Jayne in a singles match via pinfall.
  • Joe Gacy defeated Andre Chase in a singles match via pinfall.
  • Roxanne Perez(c) defeated Meiko Satomura in a singles match via pinfall to retain NXT Women’s Championship.

Tony D’Angelo vs Dijak – Jailhouse Street Fight

Dijak drops Stacks off the apron. Tony unloads on him and forces him to the floor. Dijak tries to use a stick but fails to hit as Tony hits a belly-to-belly suplex. Tony takes him to the jailhouse. Dijak blocks the door. After fighting for a while on the floor, Dijak hits a chokeslam in the ring. He brings out several chairs and slams some chair shots on Tony’s back. Dijak gets to the top. Tony throws him off the top onto a pile of chairs. We cut to a break.

Dijak sets up Tony on a table on the floor and hits an elbow drop through it. Dijak tries to lock him up in the jailhouse but Tony gets the hold on Dijak’s injured fingers and then hits a suplex. Stacks tries to help Tony to lock up Dijak, but Dijak pulls Stacks into the cell with him and dares Tony to lock them up. Dijak then kicks the door cell which hits Tony’s face.

Dijak throws Stacks into the barricade and hits a big boot on him. Tony hits Dijak with chair shots to his back. Dijak hits a mule kick on Tony before hitting Feast Your Eyes. He throws Tony into the jailhouse but Stacks gets in between the door to block it from being shut down. Dijak hits Feast Your Eyes on Stacks. Tony has a crowbar now and hits Dijak with it. He slams the door shut on Dijak’s face for the win.

Winner – Tony D’Angelo

Tony picks up Stacks and celebrates the win with him in the ring.


We cut to backstage where NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne is being interviewed. She calls her match with Meiko Satomura a dream.


Josh Briggs goes to Kiana James’ office to talk to her. Briggs tells Kiana how Brooks Jensen is afraid of making another mistake in their relationship. James thanks him for telling her that and says a make-up date is in order.


NXT Tag Team Champions Gallus are in the ring and they call out Pretty Deadly. Pretty Deadly appear on the skybox and starts to mock Gallus. Wolfgang asks them what will it take for Pretty Deadly to come into the ring. Pretty Deadly reply that they need a title shot which were stolen from them last month and they can’t live without them. Gallus put the titles on the mat and tell Pretty Deadly to come and take them. Pretty Deadly come in and Gallus beat them up.


We get a pre-recorded promo from Lyra Valkyrie who tells us that she wants to win NXT Women’s Championship. She fires warning for whoever among Meiko Satomura or Roxanne Perez walks out as the champion from tonight.

Bron Breakker, Julius Creed & Brutus Creed vs Jinder Mahal & Indus Sher

A brawl breaks out before the bell. Bron and Veer start the match with some blows. Breakker hits a running tackle to drop him. The Creed Brothers hits Veer with a double team body slam. Veer hits back against Brutus and tags in Jinder. Brutus hits a suplex on Jinder. Jinder get away and tags in Sanga as Breakker tags back in. Sanga no-sells body shots before throwing Breakker to the corner. Breakker hits punches from the second rope.

Breakker throws Sanga to the floor. Veer gets in and so does The Creeds. Veer and Jinder are also sent to the floor. Bron and The Creeds hit them with suicide dive on the floor. We cut to a break.

Sanga hits Julius with a hip toss as we return. Jinder tags in and misses a leg drop but blocks Julius from tagging out. Jinder hits a running boot before putting on the Camel Clutch on Julius. Julius breaks free and counters a suplex. Brutus and Veer tag in. Brutus hits running ax handles to drop Veer a couple of times. Brutus knocks Sanga off the apron and gives Veer a chance to counter. Brutus then fights Sanga for a while before the Creeds hit Sanga with 450 splashes back to back. Veer breaks the pin.

Sanga knocks off Breakker and Brutus off the apron. Veer and Sanga hit double team backbreaker on Julius. Breakker breaks the pin. Sanga throws Julius into the Million Dollar Clothesline but he kicks out of the pin. Breakker and Julius fight Veer and Sanga. Breakker hits a spear on JInder and Sanga. The Creeds hit Veer with Gutterfall to get the pinfall.

Winner – Bron Breakker & The Creed Brothers

Shawn Michaels gets up from the Gorilla Position to join The Grayson Waller Effect. Matt Bloom asks him if he is sure of this. Michaels says he will do it anyway.


We get a video package for the match between Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne.

Grayson Waller Effect with Shawn Michaels

Grayson Waller is out to the ring which is set up for Grayson Waller effect. He brings Shawn Michaels. Waller starts by praising Michaels but says he is always a Bret Hart guy though. Michaels asks him if they are taking gloves off. Michaels asks him why does Waller hate him so much suddenly. Waller says he was going to be the number 1 guy but suddenly Michaels started holding him back just like Vince started doing the same with Michaels back in the day.

Michaels says he cut the reigns loose on him long ago. Michaels says he is not the top guy because he lost at Vengeance Day. He tells Waller that the guy Waller should be looking at for his failures should be the guy in the mirror. Waller says Michaels is only at the Gorilla because Hunter had a heart attack.

Michaels says Hunter was the head earlier, but he is the one directing the ship now. Waller once again stakes the claims that he should be the star of the show. Michaels replies that NXT was never about one person but was a collective effort. Bron and Roxanne might be champions now, but the brand is much more than them. Waller is a part of NXT but the brand is not just about him.

Waller brings up Michaels’ selfish streak during his career and how he always prioritized himself over the collective effort always. Waller asks him when did he change. Michaels says he changed as soon as he walked into NXT and realized this place is special. Waller goes on a rampage and starts taking trash about NXT. Michaels has had enough and tells Waller to never talk trash about NXT.

Waller goes on and challenges Michaels for a match at Stand & Deliver. Michaels says best in the world have been asking him for dream matches at WrestleMania for a decade now. Michaels says as much as he would love to kick Waller’s a## at Stand & Deliver, there is a guy who would love to do it much more than him. He brings Waller’s opponent for Stand & Deliver. Johnny Gargano’s music hits and he comes out. Waller runs away after a brief brawl.

Gigi Dolin vs Jacy Jayne

They lock up and Jacy takes a cheap shot before telling Gigi to suck it. Gigi tackles her to the floor where they brawl for a while. Back to the ring, Gigi unloads with punches on the mat. Jacy decks Gigi and drops her face on the ropes. She tries to hit Gigi with a chair but Gigi hits her with a big boot to take us to a break.

Jacy is in control as we return from the break. She puts on a chinlock. Gigi gets back to her feet but Jacy hits her with knee strikes to the body. More kicks follows before Gigi counters. Gigi gets her an inside cradle to get a two-count. Gigi fires some punches and a clothesline. Jacy hits a neckbreaker and a senton to get a two-count. Gigi hits a crucifix slam and gets the pinfall.

Winner – Gigi Dolin

Jacy attacks Gigi as she was getting her hands up in the air by the referee. Jacy goes and picks up the steel chair and slams it on Gigi’s back. Jacy wraps it around Gigi’s neck but a team of referees stop her from hurting Gigi more.


Brooks Jensen and Fallon Henley are talking backstage and coming back to good terms. Josh Briggs comes in and tells Jensen about his chat with Kiana earlier and the flowers that were on Kiana’s desk. Jensen says he does not care about what was on Kiana’s desk and is only interested in what she said. Kiana calls Jensen and he goes away to talk to her. Henley says she knew something was wrong as Jensen was not the one who sent those flowers. She has a plan to get to the truth.


Bron Breakker walks out to the ring without his music. Breakker says he was supposed to talk next week but he thinks its time. Breakker says it is time for the biggest match of NXT- Bron Breakker vs Carmelo Hayes at NXT Stand & Deliver. Breakker asks Carmelo to come out. Carmelo comes out and says Breakker was right in saying that this is the biggest match in NXT right now.

Breakker says he is waiting for two months for Hayes now and he got disappointed everytime someone else’s music hit. Hayes says he is also keeping tab on Breakker everytime he is getting into the ring. They talk about August 2021 when they were told about NXT 2.0 and how they have been the biggest stars in the brand. Hayes says it is actually time for them to clash if Breakker puts his title on the line. Breakker agrees and they shake hands on it.

Andre Chase vs Joey Gacy

Chase is unloading with punches as the match starts. Gacy hits a brainbuster to get a two-count. Gacy gets Chase on his shoulders but Chase slips out and hits a big boot. Chase hits a big boot before Chase U stomps. Chase hits an Urinage to get a two-count. Gacy blocks a figure four before they trade boots and thrust kicks. Gacy hits an Urinage next.

They trade shots while on their knees. Gacy sends him to the corner to hit a clothesline. Gacy takes Chase to the second rope. Chase blocks a superplex and hits a sunset flip powerbomb to get a two-count. Thea Hail suddenly gets enraged and goes to argue with Ava Raine. Chase goes to congratulate Thea on getting over her fears. Gacy hits Chase with Upside Down to get the pinfall.

Winner – Joe Gacy

Roxanne Perez(c) vs Meiko Satomura – NXT Women’s Championship

Roxanne breaks a submission attempt as we see the match already in progress. Satomura powers her down to the mat. Satomura hits a back body drop and puts on a chinlock again by wrapping Roxanne’s arms around her neck. Roxanne turns the submission around. She hits a hurricanrana to drop Meiko on the ropes. Meiko rolls to the floor and nails an elbow.

Meiko drops her knees on Roxanne before whipping her to the corner for a corner splash. Meiko hits another hard whip but Roxanne avoids the corner attack. Meiko still manages to get the knee lock on. She continues to work on the knee for a while.

Roxanne gets to her feet and tries to hit shoulder tackles. Meiko no-sells it for a couple of times and starts to hit kicks to the face. Roxanne gets mad but Meiko continues to hit kicks to her face. Roxanne catches her leg and hits a dragon screw leg. Roxanne hits running uppercuts next. Meiko hits another kick before Roxanne kicks her to the floor and hits a suicide dive.

They are on the top rope now. Roxanne tries for a Russian Leg Sweep off the top but Meiko blocks it before she blocks a powerbomb. Meiko hits some punches to set up a splash. Roxanne gets her knees up. After a bit of back and forth, Perez hits a Russian Leg Sweep for a two-count. Meiko counters with a pin attempt.

Meiko hits a backbreaker before hitting a Pele kick and belly to back suplex for a near fall. Meiko hits a Death Valley Driver before a handspring knee drop. Roxanne kicks out of the pin. Roxanne gets to the apron and turns it around by sending Meiko into the ringpost. Meiko holds onto the apron to block Pop-rox. Roxanne is dropped on the floor.

Meiko takes Roxanne into the ring and goes for a cover. Roxanne gets her leg on the rope to break. Roxanne ducks a kick and rolls up Meiko to get the pinfall.

Winner – Roxanne Perez

After the match, Meiko hands Roxanne the title. Roxanne drops to the mat after taking the title. The referee check on Roxanne and calls for the medical team immediately. A gurney is brought out. Booker T also gets up from the commentary to check on Roxanne. Meiko Satomura is sitting in the corner distraught. Shawn Michaels also comes out as Roxanne is put on the gurney. She is taken into an ambulance as the show goes off the air.
