WWE NXT July 25: Schism Trios, Stevenson, Kendo Stick Match Announced
A trios match featuring Schism & Carmelo Hayes, a kendo stick match between Dana Brooke & Cora Jade, and Gable Steveson’ future announcement are announced for WWE NXT July 25, 2023 episode.
A video package featuring Olympic Gold Medalist Gable Steveson aired this week on NXT where Steveson announced that he would make an announcement regarding his future on next week’s show. Steveson said he has the option to continue with his amateur wrestling searching for another Olympic medal for his country or continue here in NXT.
Kelani Jordan lost to Cora Jade last week. Dana Brooke tried to cheer her up with a gymnastics session with her. Cora was watching this segment on TV backstage and said she would take on Dana next week. Later, WWE announced that this match would be a kendo stick match.

Carmelo Hayes and Ilja Dragunov are set to clash at Great American Bash for NXT Championship and were involved in a heated argument in the ring. Later, Schism confronted Dragunov and got involved in an argument. As Schism attacked Dragunov, Hayes and Trick Williams came in to save him. A trios match was later announced with Schism facing Dragunov, Hayes and Williams.
July 25, 2023 episode of WWE NXT will be the go-home episode for The Great American Bash 2023 event. The line-up announced so far is as below:
- Gable Steveson announces his future
- Cora Jade vs Dana Brooke – Kendo Stick Match
- Schism(Joe Gacy, Jagger Reid & Rip Fowler) vs Ilja Dragunov, Carmelo Hayes & Trick Williams
