Welcome to the live results coverage of WWE NXT Halloween Havoc 2023 night 1 on October 24, live from WWE Performance Center in Orlando, FL.

Becky Lynch was set to headline the show against Lyra Valkyrie, where her NXT Women’s Championship was on the line. Two matches were made with Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal. Kiana James and Roxxane Perez clashed in a Devil’s Playground match. Gigi Dolin and Blair Davenport clashed in a Lights Out match.

Lexis King made his in-ring NXT debut. Bron Breakker took on Mr. Stone in a singles match. Both semifinals of NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament were also set. Karmen Petrovic took on Lola Vice in one of the semifinals, while the other one featured Arrianca Grace and Kelani Jordan.

The D’Angelo Family defended NXT Tag Team Championship against Chase U. Tune in below for the results.

LIVE UPDATES

A Halloween-themed opening video package airs narrated by John Cena. New Year’s Day perform “Vampyre” on the stage. Co-hosts Shotzi and Scarlett are dressed up for Halloween. They don’t want to keep us waiting and then introduce the Devil’s Playground opener.

Kiana James vs Roxanne Perez – Devil’s Playground Match

James tries to swing at Perez with the handbag, but Perez avoids it. Perez starts strong but they quickly fight out to the ringside area. Perez goes for a pin attempt on the floor to get a two-count. Perez hits James with the swing from the swingset before hitting suplex on a plastic slide. James counters and picks up her handbag again to pull out a laptop. She slams Perez with the laptop as we cut to a break.

Kiana is using a chain on Perez’s face. She then drives her shoulder into the ring post using the chain. Perez also pulls her into the post using that chain itself. She hits a big uppercut before a suicide dive. She hits her with a side Russian Leg Sweep on a plastic slide. James blocks her hurricanrana and drives her into the barricade before hitting a powerbomb on a garbage can to get a two-count. James tries to use a crutch. Perez goes for Pop Rox but James blocks it and sends her into the barricade again. They trade shot on top of a barricade. James blocks a leg sweep, but Perez gets hold on James’ handbag to hit her with it. Perez hits a Pop Rox on top of the bag to get the pinfall.

Winner – Kiana James

Scarlett reads Tarot Card for Noam Dar. She predicts gloomy things for him and tells him to rely on his instincts. Dar says the cards are not keeping up. Scarlett and Shotzi leave. Meta-Four start to argue with each other. Akira Tozawa comes in behind them and takes the Heritage Cup trophy.


Carmelo Hayes is interviewed backstage. He is asked about Trick Williams’ injury and who attacked him. Hayes snaps that people think he did it.

Lexis King vs Dante Chan

Lexis starts with an arm wringer. Chan reverses it. Lexis hits a headbutt and a side kick. Chan blocks a suplex. Lexis runs the ropes before Chan hits combination shots and a led drop. Lexis corners him to choke him briefly. He hits an uppercut, a leg lariat and a shot at drop him. He keeps control for a while. Chan starts to fight back before hitting a clothesline, an inverted atomic drop. Lexis drops him with a superkick before hitting an elevated DDT to get the pinfall.

Winner – Lexis King

We cut to Chase U locker room. The D’Angelo Family come in and say they are glad to face them in the title match.

Arriana Grace vs Kelani Jordan – Women’s Breakout Tournament Semifinal

The match starts before we cut to a break briefly.

Jordan hits a suplex as we return. Grace hits a neckbreaker to get a two-count. Grace puts on a chinlock. She hits some punches before slamming her face to the mat. Jordan fights back with a sunset flip to get a two-count. She creates some momentum with some quick moves including a handspring lariat and a leg drop to get a two-count. Grace pulls her into the ropes. Grace hits a German suplex next. They are on the top rope. Jordan hits back elbows to drop Grace to the mat. She hits a split-legged moonsault to get the pinfall.

Winner – Kelani Jordan

We cut to a video where Von Wagner is working on his recovery. Mr. Stone comes in and Wagner asks him why is he going after Bron Breakker after seeing what he did to him. Stone says Breakker can’t get away after hurting his friends. Wagner gets emotional that Stone called him a friend.


Shotzi and Scarlett at the stage plugging in their show Chamber of Horros. The Creed Brothers come in and complain about Los Lotharios costing them #1 contender status. They ask Ivy Nile to Spin The Wheel, Make the Deal. It will be Tables, Ladders and Chairs match against Los Lotharios next week.

The D’Angelo Family(Tony D’Angelo & Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo) vs Chase U(Andre Chase & Duke Hudson) – NXT Tag Team Championship

Stacks starts against Chase with quick takedowns. Stacks sends Chase to the floor. Tony comes in and hits an armdrag on Hudson before Stacks hits a sucide dive.

Chase hits a chop on Tony as we return. Stacks gets a bling tag. Tony drops Chase on the ropes and into an enzuigiri from Stacks. Chase hits a big right as he tries to fight back. Tony comes in and eats an enzuigiri. Duke gets the hot tag and hits a clothesline and a German suplex. He fights both opponent and drops Stacks on top of Tony. Chase U keep up with the attack. Tony gets a tag while Chase comes in from the other side. Tony creates momentum with some quick moves. Chase brings him down and hits Chase U stomps.

Hudson saves Chase from a superplex but Stacks pulls him away to drop him on the apron. Tony hits a superplex on Chase before Stacks hits a splash. Hudson breaks the pinfall. Stacks and Tony go for Bada Bing Bada Boom, but Hudson blocks it. Hudson and Stacks fall to the floor. Jacy Jayne throws in a steel bar into the ring but Chase throws it out. Tony accidentally knocks Jacy off the apron and gets distracted by it. Chase rolls him up to get the pinfall.

Winner – Chase U

We cut to Hard Hitting Truth with Nathan Frazer who says Dominik is only North American Champion due to Judgment Day’s help. He announces their match for title next week.


Baron Corbin is interviewed backstage and tries to throw blame on everyone else when asked if he attacked Trick Williams last week.

Gigi Dolin vs Blair Davenport – Lights Out Match

Dolin starts by kicking Blair out of the ring and hits a senton on her. Blair brings her back to the ring and hits back. Dolin blocks a chair shot and slams her face into the chair. She slams the face on the steel steps also before hitting a superkick. She hits a Meteora on a chair to take us to a break.

Blair was using a rod to choke Gigi as we return. Gigi fights out of it before bringing out a table. Blair hits a drop toe hold to send Gigi’s face into a chair. She closes the table back before hitting Gigi with a belt a few times. Gigi also brings in a belt to hit Blair. She hits STO to get a two-count. She hits Kavada kick on Blair after slamming her head on a chair. Blair throws the chair in her face before hitting a suplex to get a two-count.

Blair sets up a table but this gives time to Gigi to recover and slam her face to the mat. They fight to the floor. Blair sends Gigi into the steel steps. They fight on the top of the table before Blair drops Gigi through it with a falcon arrow. Blair hits a ripcord knee in the ring to get the pinfall.

Winner – Blair Davenport

Ilja Dragunov is interviewed now. He talks about how proud he felt when his son was holding his NXT title. He claims that Carmelo Hayes’ focus is shifted from NXT title and that’s the reason he will beat him next week. Carmelo is watching this interview before he gets interrupted by Scarlett and Shotzi dressed as twin dolls. They say they have read the cards and they all point towards Carmelo being the one who attacked Trick last week.


Tiffany Stratton is interviewed backstage. Fallon Hanley comes in cosplaying Tiffany which enrages her to start a brawl.

Lola Vice vs Kerman Petrovic – Women’s Breakout Tournament Semifinal

Petrovic hits a roundhouse kick. Vice hits a chop before Petrovic hits a low dropkick to drop her. Petrovic hits a spinning kick to get a two-count. Vice decks her off the apron. She hits a scissors kick to get another two-count. Petrovic hits another kick to the face before Vice brings her down and puts on an arm and shoulder stretch. Petrovic kicks at her face to break free. A back kick is followed by a couple of clotheslines before another kick to the face. Vice rolls to the floor and Petrovic hits a suicide dive on her. Back to the ring, Vice ducks a kick and hits a roundhouse back heel kick herself to get the pinfall.

Winner – Lola Vice

Becky Lynch(c) vs Lyra Valkyrie – NXT Women’s Championship

Lyra blocks the Man handle slam. Becky ducks a kick. Becky is regrouping near the ropes. We cut to a break.

Becky drops Lyra as we return. She slams Lyra’s face into turnbuckle a few times. Lyra hits back with kicks. She hits a crossbody to get a two-count. Becky catches her with a back elbow before a crossbody herself. Both women are down after they both hit crossbody at the same time. They trade more punches when they get up. Lyra hits a series of kicks but Becky blocks a suplex. They trade more punches. Lyra hits a Northern Lights suplex. Becky hits an exploder suplex. Lyra avoids a leg drop on the ropes. She hits a dropkick on the floor.

Becky throws her into the ring post. Lyra catches her with a kick before hitting more kicks. Lyra hits a leg drop from the top rope to get a two-count. She keeps up with the attack and hits a missile dropkick to get a near fall. Lyra avoids a disarmher but Lynch is able to hit a stunner when Lyra tries to bring her down from the top rope. Becky puts on an armbar. Lyra turns it into a crucifix to get a two-count. Lyra puts on crucifix lock but Becky counters it with a pin attempt. Lyra misses a splash from the top rope. Becky puts on disarmher. Lyra gets her legs to the ropes. Lyra hits a sitdown powerbomb for a two-count.

Becky hits a superplex and a DDT to get another near fall. Becky unloads with punches before heading to the top rope. Lyra meets her on the top rope. They get back down and Lyra hits a spinning kick to get a near fall. Becky blocks a kick and hits Manhandle slam, but Lyra kicks out. Becky is in disbelief. She goes for the Manhandle Slam once again but Lyra counters with a pin attempt to get the three counts.

Winner – Lyra Valkyrie
