When is WWE Day 1 2024? Match Card, Date & More Details
WWE is set to kick start 2024 in a big way with Day 1 event. Day 1 2024 will be a RAW TV special, which will take place on January 1, 2024. The show will air from Pechanga Arena in San Diego, CA, and will start at 8 PM ET.
The first Day 1 event took place in 2022 as a Premium Live Event(PLE). The event was planned in 2023 as well as a PLE once again, but it was later nixed from the schedule. The second edition will take place as a RAW special now.

Preview
Two title matches are set for the show as announced. Seth Rollins will defend World Heavyweight Championship against Drew McIntyre. The duo earlier clashed at Crown Jewel 2023 event where Rollins was able to retain the title. McIntyre was asking for a rematch for the past month, but Rollins went to defend the title against Jey Uso. With Drew picking up important singles wins over Sami Zayn and Jey Uso, he became the top contender to face Rollins for the title.
The other title match announced is Rhea Ripley’s Women’s World Championship defense against Ivy Nile. Mami wants to showcase Ivy as an example to dare the locker room not to stand up to her. Will this be a one-sided match for Rhea or will Ivy cause an upset here?
Becky Lynch has reignited her rivalry against Nia Jax. She had been calling out Nia to face her in a match, and Nia finally agreed to face her at Day 1.
Katana Chance and Kayden Carter became the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. Their first challengers will be identified via a match between the teams of Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark and Natalya & Tegan Nox. Will team will come out on the top?
Another match that is expected to take place at Day 1 is the #1 contender match for Intercontinental Championship. RAW General Manager Adam Pearce has teased this match in his conversations with Ricochet, Chad Gable, Bronson Reed and others.
