Tag Tournament & #1 Contender Match Added to AEW Dynamite March 27
A fatal 4-way #1 contender for TBS Women’s Championship and another match of AEW Tag Team Championship tournament are added to AEW Dynamite March 27, 2024 episode.
AEW announced that Anna Jay, Kris Statlander, Willow Nightingale and Skye Blue will fight it out in order to get a shot at TBS title at Dynasty 2024 PPV. Mercedes Mone will be on the commentary during this match.
Julia Hart is the reigning TBS Women’s Champion since she won a triple threat match beating Kris Statlander & Skye Blue at Full Gear 2023 PPV.
Another quarterfinal match for AEW Tag Team Championship tournament will take place on Dynamite March 27 episode. Best Friends’ Orange Cassidy & Trent Baretta will face The Undisputed Kingdom’s Matt Taven & Mike Bennet. The Young Bucks vs Private Party match was already announced for the show.
AEW will also release the updated rankings after Dynamite this week. AEW President Tony Khan has confirmed that the winner of the Konosuke Takeshita and Swerve Strickland match would be ranked at #1 in singles wrestlers rankings.
