WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon has announced that she is taking a leave of absence from WWE for an indefinite period of time.

Stephanie McMahon took to her Twitter handle to announce this news. She wrote, “As of tomorrow, I am taking a leave of absence from the majority of my responsibilities at WWE. WWE is a lifelong legacy for me and I look forward to returning to the company that I love after taking this time to focus on my family.”

Stephanie McMahon has been working with WWE ever since she graduated from college. She made her on-screen debut during the Attitude Era in the late 1990s. She was appointed as the Creative Head in 2000 and in 2013 she became the Chief Brand Officer in WWE.

The words are going in the company that Stephanie will return at some point but that time is not decided yet. At present, she just wants to focus on her husband and her kids.

WWE hasn’t announced who would replace Stephanie as the Chief Brand Officer as it is obvious that someone else will take care of the responsibilities until she returns.
