SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match Announced for Elimination Chamber 2019
Shane McMahon and the Miz will defend their SmackDown Tag Team Championship against The Usos at the Elimination Chamber PPV event on 17th February 2019.
Shane and Miz came out to celebrate their title win over the Bar at Royal Rumble. Shane thanked Miz to help him achieve his ‘childhood’ dream of winning tag team title. He went on to show a montage video from Shane’s Crown Jewels victory, leading upto them forming the Tag Team and becoming the Champions. Shane also called out Miz’s father who said that he is proud of Miz. Shane then went on to announce that they will defend the championship at Elimination Chamber and their challenger would be determined by a 4-Way Tag Team Elimination match.
The Bar, The Usos, The New Day and Heavy Machinery participated in the match. New Day was eliminated by Heavy Machinery after thier double team finisher. Heavy Machinery was then eliminated by Sheamus hitting Knight with a Brogue Kick for the pin. Then, the Usos came in and took out Cesaro. Jey hit the Superfly Splash on Sheamus to win the match.
