Murphy traps Ali’s head against the turnbuckle and delivers a sidekick. He hits a powerbomb, a knee to the face and a brainbuster but Ali finds a way to kick out at two. They trade a flurry of strikes. Ali hits an awesome tornado DDT while Murphy is on the apron. He heads up and hits a 450 for the pin and the win.

Bayley is backstage looking at the SmackDown Women’s Title when Ember Moon walks in. She mentions Charlotte Flair and also promises to beat Bayley the next time they meet in the ring. Moon goes on and says no matter what Charlotte Flair says, she is not the face of the division, Bayley is. Lacey Evans interrupts and mocks them, adding that the whole division needs to step up. Evans says she is the real face of the division. Moon and Bayley started laughing in her face. Evans says she will prove it in her match with Bayley tonight.

The Miz Puts Out the Challenge

The Miz starts talking about Sami Zayn and says he has become a spokesperson for Nakamura because he can’t hack it in a WWE ring. He tells us that he made the Intercontinental Title, took it to the main event, and he will do it again. He sends out a challenge to Shinsuke Nakamura at Clash of Champions for the Intercontinental Championship. This brings out Sami Zayn.

Sami says Miz clearly doesn’t understand the dynamic between Sami and Nakamura. That’s fine and Miz can say whatever he wants about Sami, but Sami is a liberator and has liberated Nakamura, making him feel free and better than he has in years. He also calls Miz the King of Soft Style while Nakamura is the King of Strong Style.

The Miz threatens to beat some respect into Zayn. He goes outside the ring but Shinsuke Nakamura attacks him from behind and slams him into the barricade multiple times. He finishes it with a Kinshasa against the ring apron. Sami Zayn kept on talks trash on the mic and kept laughing in Miz’s face the whole time.

Elias is backstage playing his guitar in Shane McMahon’s office. Kevin Owens walks in and snatches the guitar. They quibble for a bit before Owens asks where Shane is. Elias tells him that Shane isn’t here tonight. Owens thanks Elias and walks off.

Bayley defeated Lacey Evans

Bayley hits an arm drag and unloads on Lacey with some punches on the face. She continues to control Evans by her arm. Lacey makes a mistake when Bayley goes for a pinning combination. Evans bodyslams her to turn the tables. The action gets out of the ring and Bayley hits a big clothesline at the ringside. Charlotte comes out on the stage to watch the match.

Evans controlling the pace with a seated submission after the break. Bayley breaks free and hits a crossbody from the middle turnbuckle for two. Lacey uses a gator roll to bring her to the apron. She crashes her arm across the apron and kicks it against the LED board. Lacey is focusing on the arm but Bayley counters a hammerlock and hits a dropkick to the back for a two-count. Bayley unloads with forearms to the face and a couple of running clotheslines.

Bayley locks Evans in a reverse Figure Four but Lacey reaches the bottom rope quickly. Evans hits a moonsault from the top rope for two. They end up outside again and Bayley hits a suplex on the floor. Bayley hits her finisher but Evans is too close to the bottom rope. Evans hits a neck breaker but Bayley counters her followup to hit her finisher again. She positions Evans in the middle of the ring and hits an elbow drop for the pin and the win.
