Roman Reigns is No Longer Scheduled for WWE Money in the Bank 2022
According to the latest reports, the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns is no longer scheduled to appear at WWE Money in the Bank 2022.
Sports Illustrated’s Justin Barrasso reported that Roman Reigns would not be competing at WWE’s upcoming premium live event on July 2. Later, Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer has also reported the same.
This decision came after WWE changed the venue of Money in the Bank from Allegiant Stadium to the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
Roman Reigns did not appear at WWE Hell in a Cell 2022 PPV event as well. He reportedly signed a new deal with the promotion after which he started working a reduced schedule.
The Tribal Chief is yet to defend the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship after winning it at WrestleMania 38. His last premium live event match came at WWE WrestleMania Backlash where he wrestled in a six-man tag-team match. Whereas his last televised appearance was on the May 20 episode of WWE SmackDown where he assisted the Usos in becoming the Undisputed tag-team champions.
It is still unknown when Roman Reigns will return to WWE television. Riddle has issued a challenge to Roman Reigns on this week’s Raw and now it remains to be seen when and how Roman Reigns will respond to his challenge.
