Roman Reigns Beats Logan Paul at WWE Crown Jewel 2022

Roman Reigns defeated Logan Paul to retain the Undisputed WWE Universal championships at WWE Crown Jewel 2022

Roman started things off by pushing Logan Paul to the corner, but soon Paul managed to take down the Tribal Chief with a waistlock takedown. It frustrated Roman and he did the same.

Reigns dominated the match for a while before Logan shifted the momentum with a crossbody off the barricade. After that he shocked Roman with a buckshot lariat inside the ring.

Logan was trying to launch another high-flying attack but he was caught by Reigns’ uppercut mid air. Roman then took control of the match.

However, it didn’t last long as soon Logan hit Roman with a blockbuster for a near fall. If it wasn’t shocking enough, he also hit Roman with a superman punch and did a kip up followed by a crossbody and standing moonsault for another nearfall.

Logan tried to hit Sweet Chin Music but Reigns countered it with a Urinage for a nearfall. Later, Paul finally managed to hit that lucky punch followed by another superman punch. But, these two punches were also not enough to put the Tribal Chief down.

Paul really outdid himself during this match as Paul hit Roman with a frog splash outside the ring on a table while recording a video on the cellphone.

It forced the Usos to come out and he attacked Logan Paul’s friends. Since the Usos were inside the ring, Jake Paul also made his way to the ring and knocked out the Usos.

Logan took Roman inside the ring and hit him with the frog splash for another nail-biting fall. After this, Solo Sikoa also came out to the ring and was about to go one-on-one with Jake Paul.

The officials separated them, and then Logan hits the Usos with the crossbody. However, when he returned inside the ring, he met with the superman punch followed by a spear which finished the job for Roman Reigns.

The storyline between Roman Reigns and Logan Paul started when The Tribal Chief appeared on Paul’s ImPaulsive podcast. The conversation went smoothly, but the moment Roman left the set, Logan said that he might be able to beat Roman Reigns despite having just two matches in WWE.

As a result, Reigns told the wise man Paul Heyman to handle the situation. Paul then appeared on the September 16 episode of SmackDown to cut a promo to invite Reigns to a press conference the following day.

After their verbal back and forth at the press conference, Roman Reigns agreed to defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Logan Paul in the main event of WWE Crown Jewel 2022.

In his later appearances on Smackdown, Logan tried to create a rift between The Bloodline and specifically target Jey Uso. He even managed to drop Jey with a punch three weeks back as he tried to insinuate that he can beat Roman with “one lucky punch.”
