Rollins vs McIntyre World Title Match Set for WWE Crown Jewel 2023
Seth Rollins will defend his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Drew McIntyre at Crown Jewel 2023 PLE.
During the October 9 episode of RAW, in the opening segment, Seth Rollins mentioned his victory over Shinsuke Nakamura at Fastlane 2023 PLE, where he defeated Nakamura in a Last Man Standing match. He also expressed his intention to remain a fighting champion for the fans.
Following this, Drew McIntyre interrupted Seth Rollins, wasting no time in challenging Rollins for a title match at the Crown Jewel PLE event. Rollins promptly accepted the challenge without hesitation.

Moments later, Damian Priest launched a surprise attack on Seth Rollins from behind and executed a chokeslam on him. Dominik Mysterio rushed to the scene, attempting to hand Priest his Money In The Bank briefcase, but Drew McIntyre intervened, stopping him, and then he threw the briefcase onto the stage.
Later in the show, Seth Rollins approached Drew McIntyre and confirmed that their match is now official for Crown Jewel 2023 PLE.
Drew McIntyre has had a successful WWE career, winning the WWE Championship not just once but twice during his time in the company. McIntyre also faced JD McDonagh on RAW this week and came out on the winning side despite interferences from Dominik Mysterio.
Rollins is the inaugural World Heavyweight Champion and was crowned the champion at Night of Champions. He has had intense rivalries with Finn Balor and Shinsuke Nakamura during this rivalry.
