Ricochet & Nakamura Qualify for Money in the Bank Ladder Match

Ricochet and Shinsuke Nakamura have both qualified for the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match on May 29, 2023 episode of WWE RAW.

Ricochet, known to be one of the best high flyers in WWE, was at his best as he faced The Miz in the first qualifier. The Miz dominated a major portion of the match and surprised everyone with some high-flying moves as he hit a hurricanrana and springboard crossbody.

However. Ricochet was able to rally in the end and finished the match with 630-senton. Ricochet will make his third appearance in the Money in the Bank ladder match. The previous two appearances came in the year 2019 and 2021.

The second qualifier took place between Bronson Reed and Shinsuke Nakamura. Reed imposed his size on Nakamura during the most part of the match but Nakamura kept coming back with his varied moveset.

Nakamura avoided a Tsunami from Reed in the final minute of the match and hit a running knee and Kinshasa. But Reed avoided the pin by rolling to the floor. Nakamura then followed up with another Kinshasa when Reed returned to the ring to secure the win and qualification to his third MITB appearance.

Men and Women MITB Ladder matches are set to take place at WWE Money in the Bank 2023 event which airs on July 1 from London, UK. The qualifying matches are set to continue this week on Friday Night SmackDown where LA Knight will take on Montez Ford and Lacey Evans will take on Zelina Vega. Then next week on RAW, Becky Lynch battles Sonya Deville, and Zoey Starks battles Natalya in women’s qualifiers.

No other matches were made official for the event apart from men and women MITB matches. Keep tuned in for more news and updates.
