Report: Brock Lesnar was Set to Face Dominik at Elimination Chamber
Reportedly, Brock Lesnar was set to face Dominik Mysterio at WWE Elimination Chamber 2024 PLE.
John Pollock of POST Wrestling revealed that Brock Lesnar was scheduled to be in a match with Dominik Mysterio at WWE Elimination Chamber which would have been set up during men’s Royal Rumble match.
As per Dave Meltzer from the Wrestling Observer, Bron Breakker replaced Brock Lesnar in the Royal Rumble, taking Lesnar’s spot despite Lesnar not being initially advertised for the event. Lesnar was allegedly planning to make a return to television at the Royal Rumble.
Breakker secured four eliminations during the Royal Rumble but faced elimination himself at the hands of Dominik. Breakker also declared Main Roster “Home” After Royal Rumble.
On Thursday, Janel Grant filed a lawsuit against Vince McMahon, WWE, and former executive John Laurinaitis, alleging sex trafficking, emotional abuse, and sexual assault. During the Royal Rumble press conference, Triple H was questioned about the lawsuit but opted to emphasize the positive aspects of the week instead of addressing the legal matter directly.
While Brock Lesnar is not directly named, the lawsuit refers to “a world-famous athlete and former UFC Heavyweight Champion” that WWE sought to sign. The claim suggests Vince McMahon sexually utilized Ms. Grant to retain the athlete under WWE contract.
