Okada, Evil, Ospreay, & Naito Qualify for NJPW G1 Climax 33 SemiFinals
The stage is now set for the semi-finals! The final four participants are now set for the NJPW G1 Climax 33 tournament.
The quarterfinal matches from G1 Climax 33 took place on night 17 on August 10 in Chiba, Japan. Tetsuya Naito, Kazuchika Okada, Will Ospreay, and Evil have successfully progressed and secured their spots in the semifinals of the NJPW G1 Climax 33 tournament.

Tetsuya Naito, who secured the top position in the D Block, defeated Hikuleo, who secured the second spot in Group A.
Will Ospreay, who held the second position in B Block, defeated David Finlay, who occupied the first place in C Block.
Evil, who held the second position in C Block, defeated IWGP World Champion Sanada, the winner of A Block. The defeat was Sanada’s first defeat in the tournament.
Kazuchika Okada, leading the B Block, defeated Zack Sabre Jr., who held the second position in the D Block.
Evil is set to go head-to-head with Okada, while Ospreay is set to compete against Naito in the semi-final matches scheduled for August 12. The final match of the tournament is set for August 13.
