NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles Revealed, Title Changes Hand

NXT General Manager William Regal has revealed the new NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship titles.

The move comes after WWE RAW & SmackDown official Adam Pearce interfered in the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match between the champions Nia Jax & Shayna Basxler vs Dusty Rhodes Classic winners Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez. Regal later revealed that he will make a big announcement at this week’s NXT.

The whole of NXT Women’s Division was at the ramp as Regal opened the show earlier tonight. He first revealed that NXT TakeOver Stand & Deliver 2021 will be two nights event. He then introduced the new NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles.

Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez were crowned the first NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions on account of winning the first-ever women’s Dusty Rhodes Classics tournament.

They were soon challenged by the other finalists of the tournament – Shotzi Blackheart & Ember Moon. The first title match took place on NXT between the two teams where Blackheart pinned Dakota to win the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships.
