NXT stars debuts on SmackDown now
After making their debut on RAW on Monday, NXT stars- NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa, NXT North American Champion Johnny Gargano, Ricochet, Aleister Black and Eric Young with his stable Sanity has made their debut on SmackDown now.
Aleister Black faced his former rival in NXT Andrade in a match which was very close to the levels of NXT. Black was able to counter Andrade’s Hammerlock DDT and finally hit Black Mass Kick to win the match. Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano continued their tag team exploits when they faced the Bar in another winning effort. Ricochet faced another NXT colleague in Sanity leader Eric Young and got another spectacular win over him.
WWE is trying to control the falling TV ratings with the introduction of these new stars and by pushing crowd favorites like Becky Lynch and Kofi Kingston among others.
