Sami Zayn’s storyline with The Bloodline took a big turn at Royal Rumble last night but what plans does WWE has in pipeline for him on the road to WrestleMania 39 and for Elimination Chamber 2023?
After being conflicted for the most part during Roman Reigns vs Kevin Owens match, Sami Zayn finally had enough of Reigns’ brutality towards KO and hit him with a steel chair. Roman, Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa then beat up Sami while Jey Uso went back after being aghast at Sami’s betrayal.
WWE Elimination Chamber 2023 event will take place in Montreal, Canada, which is Sami Zayn’s hometown. Many reports have said Sami Zayn will challenge Roman Reigns for WWE Universal Championship. Now, Xero News’ sources have told him in the fall out of Royal Rumble once again that Sami vs Roman remains the plan for Elimination Chamber 2023.
Sami’s storyline did not only play out with Roman Reigns but also with Jey Uso. Jey did not like Sami at first, but Sami won him over during WarGames match at Survivor Series. Jey came to Sami’s defense in the Tribal Court just last Monday on RAW. What will happen between Sami and Jey now?
The sources in WWE have told Xero News that an angle with Jey Uso will play out at Elimination Chamber which will see Jey siding with The Bloodline. This will later lead to Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens vs The Usos at WrestleMania 39 for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship.
Several of the recent “leaks” have turned out to be wrong with almost all the sources. Do you think this will be the plan that WWE goes with for Roman Reigns, The Bloodline and Sami Zayn?
For what it’s worth Xero News sources still maintain that The Rock might still make an appearance at WrestleMania in some capacity despite not appearing at Royal Rumble. However, it seems less likely that he will wrestle at the Showcase of the Immortals now. Will it be the case?
