AEW Full Gear 2023: MJF vs The Gunns ROH Tag Title Match Announced

AEW Full Gear 2023

ROH Tag Team title match is set for AEW Full Gear 2023 PPV event.

MJF will pull double duty on a PPV card once again as he will defend his ROH Tag Team title against The Gunns (Austin Gunn and Colten Gunn) at AEW Full Gear 2023 PPV event. He is also set to defend AEW World Championship against Jay White in the main event of the PPV event.

The Gunns issued a challenge to MJF during this week’s AEW Dynamite episode after he defeated Juice Robinson to retain his Dynamite Diamond Ring. The Gunns also said that MJF was welcome to bring the Devil to accompany him in the match. The true identity of the person behind the Devil Mask remains undisclosed. He was involved in an attack on Jay White backstage last month.

As of now, Adam Cole holds the ROH Tag Team title alongside MJF. Unfortunately, Cole is currently sidelined due to an ankle injury, and there is uncertainty regarding his return date to the wrestling ring. It remains uncertain whether MJF will defend the title at AEW Full Gear in a 2-on-1 handicap match or if he will have a partner to join him in the contest.

MJF’s most recent defense of the ROH Tag Team title took place at the AEW WrestleDream 2023 PPV event, where he secured a victory in a 2-on-1 handicap match against The Righteous (Vincent and Dutch).

MJF and Cole won the titles at the pre-show of All In 2023 PPV pre-show where they also headlined the show, clashing in AEW World title bout. MJF has vowed that he would hold on to ROH Tag Team titles until Cole returns from the injury.

AEW Full Gear PPV event is scheduled for November 18, 2023, and it will be live from Kia Forum in Los Angeles, California.
