Men’s Elimination Chamber 2024 Match Set, Winner Faces Seth Rollins at WrestleMania XL

WWE has announced Men’s Elimination Chamber match for the namesake event at Perth later this month.

Roman Reigns vs Cody Rhodes match for WWE Championship(Undisputed Universal Championship) was announced on Thursday after Cody chose to challenge Reigns as the Royal Rumble winner. Triple H clarified on SmackDown this week that match was set to be the main event at WrestleMania XL.

With that being clear, it was then announced on SmackDown this week that an elimination chamber match would identify the challenger for World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. Both Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce, General managers of Smackdown & RAW, respectively, were present in the ring to make this announcement and revealed the 12 participants set to feature in the qualifying matches.

In the first qualifier, Drew McIntyre defeated AJ Styles. LA Knight was present on the commentary during the match and ended up costing AJ the match when the referee got busy in dealing with him while AJ had Drew in an inside cradle. Drew then finished the match via Claymore kick.

Randy Orton defeated Sami Zayn to end throw a wrench in Sami’s Road to WrestleMania. Sami headlined WrestleMania 40 which was highlighted this week on RAW and SmackDown, but he has now failed to qualify for the World title qualifier Elimination Chamber match.

SmackDown closed with Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre having a face-off. The other qualifiers for men’s chamber match will take place over RAW and SmackDown episodes next week. These qualifiers are as below:

  • Bobby Lashley vs Bronson Reed on RAW
  • Ivar vs LA Knight on RAW
  • Logan Paul vs The Miz on SmackDown
  • Kevin Owens vs Dominik Mysterio on SmackDown

WWE Elimination Chamber Perth 2024 will take place on February 24 with a special start time of 5 AM ET due to it taking place in Perth, Australia. Women’s Elimination Chamber match is also set for the show along with Women’s World title match and Tag Team title match.
