Kota Ibushi & PAC Announced 5th Members for Blood & Guts Match
Kota Ibushi is set to debut in AEW in Blood & Guts match for The Elite on July 19, 2023 Dynamite episode, while PAC will also return to action with Blackpool Combat Club.
The Elite and BCC are set to clash in Blood & Guts match this year on July 19 Dynamite episode. 4 members were already announced for both sides already. The Blackpool Combat Club added Konosuke Takeshita with Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta. The Elite have their usual line-up of Kenny Omega, Hangman Adam Page, Matt Jackson, and Nick Jackson.
It was announced earlier that both teams will reveal their fifth member for Blood and Guts match on the July 12 episode of AEW Dynamite. Don Callis was out in the ring to reveal the BCC member but Kenny Omega came out to interrupt him. PAC ended up attacking Omega from behind with a steel chair and revealed himself to be aligned with BCC for Blood & Guts.

Omega had a chair wrapped around his neck with PAC ready to hit Black Arrow when Moxley asked for his last words. Omega sent them to a video package that announced that Kota Ibushi is coming to AEW for Blood & Guts match. Page and the Young Bucks then saved Omega from any further attack.
The rivalry between Blackpool Combat Club and The Elite has been ongoing since April this year. At AEW Double or Nothing PPV event, Blackpool Combat Club defeated The Elite in the Anarchy in the Arena match. Then, at the Forbidden Door PPV, The Elite (“Hangman” Adam Page, Matt Jackson, and Nick Jackson), Eddie Kingston, and Tomohiro Ishii defeated Blackpool Combat Club(Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, and Claudio Castagnoli), Konosuke Takeshita, and Shota Umino in a ten-man tag team match.
The rivalry did not end there though and Jon Moxley challenged The Elite for Blood & Guts match during June 28 episode of AEW Dynamite.
